Game breaking glitch

I wonder if the people leaving these glowing reviews actually played through the hole game. When you get to the top of the tower after fighting back to back bosses you have to use cloud to start another boss battle, but the game glitches out on a TUTORIAL SCREEN and will not let you progress. I’ve done it step by step I’ve gone online to see if there’s a way around it and nothing. I’ve gone to app support, but doesn’t say anything. This problem has been around since the steam port so obviously they just ported it to mobile without fixing these game breaking bugs. I tried for over 3hrs and fighting the same battle over and over. I’m done I’m just gonna get a refund. If a game is unable to be finished then what’s the point of selling it.

First off, there was no auto saving mechanic in the original. Doubt he actually played the ps1 version. Auto saving in fact would make it too easy. It’s apart of the game to save where you are able to get to. Pretty much every final fantasy game. Game is great. Story is very well written with points very well connected. Gameplay is great. Of course playing on mobile port, you have little annoyances such as the layout and small bugs here and there. Otherwise, this game is perfect in every way.
App Freezes on iPad

Immediately after the first level, the app becomes non responsive and forces me to hard restart my iPad. I should have known better since this app hasn’t been updated in 4 years.
Needs an update

Update to adjust to iPhone X screen size. Everything else is great. Same game from ps1

I got this app on iOS 14 and the app isn’t even full screen and it’s super hard to see what’s going on I would love to see if square would update the game for ios14 and have a better experience

Haven’t even finished downloading yet but this is by far my favoritist game of all time I grew up with the franchise I use to play this for endless hours completed many many times before. I don’t play video games anymore but this is my first iPhone I saw this and immediately had to have it. Thanks for making a mobile version.
