Controller??

Does anyone know if you can use the Apple controller with this game? I just bought this game and I’m looking for a reason to buy the Apple controller. That being said, I’d hate to waste money on something it’s not compatible with.

I loved this game the first time that played back in the PS1. I still have the disc.? This version is okay-to-certain-point. User beware should you choose the max stats option because you will lose the ability to Limit Break normally, but your attacks will be Limit-Break-like in damage. I guess that’s The Law of Equivalent Exchange at work. If possible, could the developers fix this and make it more balanced like 9? And instead of Max Stats, make it Max Level instead? Or better yet, make it max EXP and AP gain with max gil. But overall, I still like the game.
Still a great game, even on mobile!

FF7 is a classic. My favorite of the series but only by a small margin. Holds up so well even on mobile. The controls take some getting used to but after a few minutes you get used to it and forget the buttons are overlayed on the screen. The max stats and encounter toggle are great additions for new players who may not like the difficulty or something or existing players just looking to have some fun. Or for anyone who just wants to take in the story. The only problems I notice are that with the iPhone X/Xs the black bars on the side make it a little uncomfortable to reach the movement controls. Particularly if you are using the Analog stick option. It’s easy to drag your finger off the playable area and lose control. Reaching further into the screen helps of course but can be uncomfortable for some hands. It’s still the classic I know, love, and have beaten several times over.

The game is great and plays very well on iOS. The only issue is that, like the original, you have to wait until you find a save point before saving the game. This becomes a problem when playing on the go as there are often times when you will be interrupted or not come across a save point in time. What happens is you close the app and after a few moments you open to play again and the progress you made has been erased back to the last save point.

After all these years game still have sound problems. I installedthe game on my iPhone 8 to play it. Wasnt able to. No sound, no matter ehich tricks I tried. Added a second star because if FF7, which I will always respect.

I remember first beating the game, not coming out of my room but to go see my dealer and change my bong water. The music was amazing I zoned out to it every time I walked to a new city and it peacefully started to play. I felt like a kid again. 5 Stars!!!!!
Can’t exit app on iPhone X

When I try to exit or switch apps on my iPhone X by swiping up, nothing happens. The only way I can exit the game is by turning my phone off completely

Works great on my 6 Plus... Others complained about issues for their 7, 8, X, XR, XS, XS max but on my 6 Plus at least everything works perfectly! I played FF7 when I was in high school and now in my 30s excited to play it again and missed it. 5 Stars for the 6 Plus but can’t speak for other devices.
