Just a small issue.

QuillzInk

I absolutely love this app and have used it for god knows how long now. It’s very intuitive and has gotten me into learning xml file writing. My only issue is that there’s a bug/problem with having it on two separate devices. I have it on my iPad and iPhone and when I go to download my iCloud back-up, it fails to do so. But it’s a very small thing in comparison to just the plethora that this app has helped save my mental on keeping track of so many things.

Broken

J. Corvus 33

Was solid for a long time, now with recent updates I can no longer level up characters with a custom class. They forced in an auto-rolling thing, and now the level change doesn’t apply when you hit save. Pointless and aggravating.

Good, but RIGID

MG10334

Has a lot of the options already built in. Unfortunately, does not accommodate for Expertise or other features that modify what is calculated in the program. Once skills are calculated, it’s impossible to go through and manually modify things for expertise. Class and race feature design is not the best, it just plugs in the description text for a lot of it.

Love the app, but...

JRevia

I have been using this app for quite awhile and recommend it to others constantly, but the most recent updates have broken the spell slots of multiclassing characters who have levels in Warlock. It just doesn’t give the correct number of spell slots anymore.

Warforge

I can’t find warforge

Great but I have a small quibble

KKH Nayru

The overall layout and usefulness of this app is fantastic; importing or editing your own content can be a chore at times, but it doesn’t really detract from the quality of the app itself. However, I do have one small complaint: when you’re adding files or creating your own content, if you create a spellcasting class, you won’t be able to get rid of its section in your compendium’s Spell tab, even if you delete the class and remove all of the spells from that section. It can be rather annoying when you’re trying to add a lot of content at once and forget to remove the one thing you didn’t want, and now you’re stuck with a heading that serves no purpose but to take up space. Not a major gripe, but maybe something that could be fixed in future versions?

Like but seems a bit buggy

Ashagall

I like this app, in fact I LOVE this app. However, i discovered that after one of the updates i could no longer find Dropbox in the list of places where i could get XML files. It’s very frustrating.

Amazing but...

+horse Queen+

I love this app it helps me do my characters way faster but I think it has missing content. The sorcerer is missing skills and I don’t know what else is missing. Also there are only the basic races and classes and no backgrounds other than acolyte. My brother was amazing and did all the work to put all the races in the app and I think everyone should have that. Still the most amazing app ever? but please fix these bugs.

A few complications, but it’s very easy to use.

Peppermintleafblower

The app is really easy to use, and it’s easy to fix if VERY inconvenient that it starts out amazingly barebones and paying $2.99 does not make it less barebones. I finished adding in all the additional backgrounds and races that were left out after two days between working. But everything in the Player’s Handbook should have been included from the start or with the $2.99, I shouldn’t have to outsource or pay to play more than just an Acolyte background or a High Elf if I want to play an Elf. Any races in Volo’s Guide should have been additional content, but if it’s in the official, basic Player’s Guide, it should have been in the basic app. But it doesn’t take long to fix even if you do it manually. It’s just stupid you have to do it that way. It’s a little hard to find where some details are to edit. I originally wrote this review and said it was impossible to edit appearance or your Characteristics, but they’re hidden under Race and Background respectively.

Poorly Designed. More work than paper.

bmc182

It’s easier to do the math yourself on paper. No matter how many times I tried tweaking the different settings I could not get my ability scores to be correct. Don’t understand how this is so highly rated. You select your character level and it keeps reverting back to 1. I put in what spells the app did have but then they were randomly gone. I had to suffer through and try and create an incorrect version of my character cause DM wants it but idk why cause all the stats are wrong. So...what a waste of time.
