No benefits from $29.99 “pro” version

A month ago, after the 3 day free trial, I was charged the $29.99 fee. However I’ve yet to see any expansion to the app features. Even when “signed-in” to the app I’m still offered the “free trial.” Have contacted the developer several times. No reply. Disappointed.

I payed for filters and features. Somewhere they made an upgrade to the app, and now I can’t even log in unless I have and Instagram or a Facebook. Sorry, not all of us have social media. This is ridiculous.

This app has the potential to be one of the best photo editing apps. I’ve used this app for years. The interface has become a little harder to use since it first came out. However, there are bugs that have stuck around with each update. I’ve never been able to save the light “Leaks” feature correctly. I’ll edit the opaqueness and it won’t save the edit to my camera roll. I even tried using the “Contact Us” feature to ask for help with the issue, and the email was bounced back. Writing this review to show others how great this app is... and how much better it could be.

I paid 30 dollars and can’t access the full version

I have a subscription for a year and it still says that I need to pay again when it clearly says on my Apple ID that I’m subscribed to the full version for a year. This is ridiculous, I can’t access the full version. You all should be sued for stealing so many peoples money.

I got this app years ago through my Starbucks membership— updated it today and can’t do anything now? It wants a sign-in and a paid membership? I’m complaining to Apple— you can’t give an app and then get people using it, take away features, and throw it up behind a pay wall. Garbage!!

Can I just delete it and download it again? The old version is better! Easier to manage and find everything easier! This new version is difficult to control, find the editing options. Can’t even do the hoarder anymore.... I’m sad. Only photo editing app I use for my portfolio.

Faded used to be my top 3 apps for editing, along with VSCO and Snapseed. Unfortunately, the new app redesign is TERRIBLE. It’s not user friendly, looks like it regressed 10 years into the beginning basic limited apps. It’s also super glitchy. Took me several tries to log in, and then some of the menus don’t appear. For example, after editing a picture, (which took a while to find the filters) I could not for the life of me figure out how to save it. Please bring back the black minimal design, and take this glitchy mess back. I’ll update my review a few weeks from now.

I am a ux/ui designer and I find the new version of this app to be a complete usability fail. I’ve used this app for years and it was awesome. I am all for improvements and refreshes but it seems like user experience was set aside for design and aesthetics. Sad.

UPDATE 2/1/19 - This app used to be great but it now is terrible beyond belief. I use to have the paid version of the app and loved it, but without warning they changed to a subscription based service which has screwed over all of us that originally paid for the app. I’m not sure how this is even legal. And to top that off, they new UI redesign is complete utter garbage. *EVERYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT LOSING THE FILTERS YOU PURCHASED!!! (1)Go to SETTINGS (2) Click on RESTORE PURCHAES (3) YOU'RE WELCOME It does exactly what it says. The free version works great, there is no need to buy anything else, although I have purchased more filters as they are very inexpensive.

I have been using this app for years and have loves it. However, this new update is horrible. The controls are now overly clunky, hard to access photos, and over all seems to have a lag (not a problem with my device or internet service). Also, the app asks over and over and over again to become a paying memeber, but with these changes there is really no reason to pay. I am going to give it a few days, but it looks like I am going to have to switch to different app (rather sad about that).
