What happened?

Previously this was my go to app for editing photos. It was easy, quick, and responsive. And now it’s none of those things. I’m not sure what the intent of the changes were, but it feels like slower, more obtuse, and bigger icons were the guiding principals. What a disappointment.

Haven’t used the app in a while because after years of using it started uploading all of my photos blurry regardless of image size. I opened the app for the first time in a while to give it another try and the whole thing is different and I can’t find some of the old options. Too many changes to try and make the app look cool and aesthetically pleasing.

Anyone else feel the same?! You know what really grinds my gears...apps that I once paid for on the via the App Store or in app purchase to unlock content and filters are now reverting your apps to basic and making you subscribe to them on a monthly or yearly basis to unlock the content once again. Not happy about this model. Plus the UI is very hard to get used to. *insert rage face here* ??????

I was a loyal faded user for the past 5 years. This app was wonderful and now I have no idea how to use it. Please go back to the old format. This new one is not user friendly.

I purchased the membership and the app isn’t allowing me to do anything and also continues to ask me to start a free trial even though I am signed in and have purchased this pro app. Is there another step I need to take? If what I am seeing is the “pro membership” you have indeed ripped people off. Your free app with limited options prior to this upgrade was SO much better.

I’m so confused of who’s in charge and how they thought this could be a good idea. I don’t write reviews for things but this app is so bad in its current state I’m going to have to delete it. It’s irritating because I’ve used faded for YEARS and now they just ruin it with one update.

I hate the changes! It’s so much more difficult to use! It was so much better before! And I can no longer save my edited photos to my phone!!!! It takes me directly to Instagram and I don’t have social media! I just want to save them to my phone! They are probably making it to where you now have to pay just to save your photos on your phone. Such a disappointment! ☹️

I’ve used this app and raves about it since it’s inception. I was excited about the update until I realized you guys ditched a bunch of the frames. I used them all the time and I’m pretty bummed about it. Ended up downloading another app to do the trick. You guys were the best until you lost those features. Please bring them back!!!

My Faded app upgraded & I've now lost all of the filters I’ve paid for. Asking for an additional $29.95 for a membership is distasteful to say the least. The interface is not intuitive & Help features are non existent in the app. The YouTube “Tutorial” shows the old app (perhaps the developers should have had upgraded version available prior this release). I am not able to navigate to perform an overlay. Therefore making this app pending deletion & wasting my investment. In my opinion, this latest version is not an upgrade, but a reason to avoid this & any other app created by this developer. Refund or grandfather my account for the previously purchased filters! Dislike immensely & hope Apple takes action to protect consumers from such practices. POOR FORM!!
