Terribly broken app...

... means terribly broken experience. I used this app 4 years ago and found it amazing. It helped to get the most of short 3 hour visit to the museum. Today i downloaded the app even before i got the tickets. The app is a fail. The locator doesnt work. After i spent like 30 minutes trying to understand where am i i realized the maps are not actual. The visit to the museum was a huge disappointment as i couldnt find anything but tigers and elephats in 1.5 hours. Thats how misuse of technology can kill other not seemingly related areas. Do not rely on this app unless fixed, get a paper guide.

Good reference, can’t get location to work

… and I have always made sure that i’m connected to the AMNH public wifi. But I still can never get a location fix. A shame, since AMNH is one of those museums that is really hard to find your way around in when you’re trying to get to a specific place. Still, the app is a good reference and at least had good maps and exhibit information.

Navigation feature not functionsl

App was a great way to plan the trip but was useless for navigating. I connected to AMNH wifi but it never 'located' me. Instead, navigated all day with a great paper map.

Add me to the list of those who found this app useless once inside the museum. Not once was it able to find my location & give directions from where I actually was. It was far easier to use the paper map and to ask security guards & docents for directions. Come to think of it, the signage in the museum itself is not particularly useful (maybe whoever was responsible for signs had a hand in this app?)

AMNH has great apps associated with their exhibits, I wish they would pay as much attention to this one. As mentioned, it can never locate users, therefore not helpful in finding ones way around. Exhibits listed to build a tour are not kept up to date. If you are not sure if to are going to see an IMAX film or a Planetarium, you can never find directions using program title. Love the museum, it deserves a far better App.

I'm such a fan of the museum and it's high quality exhibits, so it's so disappointing that this app is broken! AMNH - please fix it!

I was looking forward to using this app for the highlights tour. Regretfully, the wifi signal inside the museum is so weak that the app wouldn't load.

Connect to the network, but Cannot be located. Worthless to find your way around. I guess that the museum just doesn't care. Been going on for a long time. $29 per person to come here.

App thinks i'm offline

It keeps telling me i'm offline when i'm not. Won't even start, just gets stuck at loading screen..too bad, really wanted to use this :(

From the moment I attempt to launch the app it notifies me that I have no internet connection, which is impossible. I am home where I have both cell service and wifi. Does this app only work when your IN the museum? It's super easy to just get a physical map at the museum (and not waste cell battery), but wanted to check it out, (TNHM being my favorite museum). What is happening in my situation? Answers invited
