At first I used it July 2018 where the wifi connection to the device most of the time fails. Now, after several software updates the connection is more reliable and controling my bedroom light is more trouble-free. Keep it up!

The app is not updating its firmware as suggested and when I attempt to email for support I receive a “ fail” message. What’s going on with the app?
How To Find EWeLink in Google Home

For Google Home Setup, Search Google Home for “Smart We Link”, which is EWeLink.The EWeLink comes up once “Smart We Link” is selected in Google Home. Note: For more control, this App also works with the IFTTT App. the IFTTT (If This, Then, That) App is a 3rd Party App that helps expand and give more functionality to Apps through the use of mini-widgets that perform various User selected actions once User defined conditions are met. ((For Example: IFTTT sends instructions to WWeLink to Turn off designated specific lights, at a User predefined day and/or time. (Just an example of the types of actions possible, I’m not sure this specific IFTTT widget exists)) I haven’t used this App yet, but have been looking to add to my smart home devices, and came across the EWeLink App compatible devices, and I wanted to ensure that they were Google Home Compatible, so I read User Reviews, and the issues other Users have had (Saw the Unable to find in Google Home issue, did research, and am posting the resolution at the start of this Review), and then I downloaded the App to check it out, and I ALWAYS check out the Controlling App prior to buying ANY Smart Device, because without a good driving/management app behind a device, the device is just a useless paper weight. 5-Stars are so that this Review will be posted and the ‘Fix’ of “How To” find the correct App name in Google Home will be posted for all Users/Potential Users to see. I will update this review (IF or) once I buy an E WeLink Device and test its use over time.

Unable to add/register phone number. I have an account associated with my email, but in order to share my devises I have to type in phone number. I found no way to add phone number to my existing account or to create a new account using phone number.

Unfortunately, I purchased two devices and could not add them to the app. I have tried for two days.
Good features, needs better Alexa suppor

Have not had a problem with the app and it’s features. I like that I can put in my electricity rate and keep track of usage, costs, etc. One issue that needs to be fixed is the Alexa support for their switches. Controlling the switch via Alexa works about half the time; constantly says switch is “not responding” even tho it works though the app.
Does not recognise off command with Alexa

Push remote switches work on my iPad but if I tell Alexa to turn off a switch it does not recognise the off word. To turn off a switch I have to say ‘on’.
