Problems lately

JennyRachel

I do love this app normally. When it works. I have the membership so it can link to my bank account but the last two months it keeps kicking me out of my account. Now I’m having trouble logging in. I know my passwords are right. I know I’m all up to date on the version and my software. I know I turned off secondary verification through my bank because I though that might be the problem. Besides these recent glitches which has thrown our budget a little off the rails (didn’t realize how much I leaned on it linking to my account). It is a great app. Connects to both my husband and me. We’re on the same page. We follow the plan. Everything is beautifully organized and we are crushing baby step 2. Just needs some fixes. ?

Great app

The bank transactions are slow to get in the app. I can see they cleared but the transaction take 1-2 days after to post. I love how easy the app is to make a budget. Fix the bank issue and it is 5 stars. I would also like more explanation on the snowball app and how this app connects.

5 Stars But One Thing to Work On

I absolutely love this app. I use it every day. I’m 50 years old and it’s the first time I’ve committed to a budget. I have one complaint though. The savings part is very confusing and needs to be revised. I’m sure you’ve heard this from others because I’ve been googling tricks on how to understand the savings part better. Remaining and spent don’t seem like the appropriate way to read the accounts. There are tricks out there, but there shouldn’t have to be. I’m still giving the app a 5 star rating because the budgeting part is amazing!

Best app for saving money.

We followed the Dave Ramsey program years ago. You do have to pay $129 a year but it will be the best money you have spent if you want to get ahead of your finances. When we took the classes in 2014 God blesses us beyond what we could dream. We paid all of our debt off accept the house and student loans. We were able to pay off both our cars, 2 student loans, 5 credit cards. 2020 we are doing the program again because so we can brush back up. Best decision so far. This app helps more than any other financial app I have ever used.

EveryDollar

This app is life changing!! We have more money left at the end of the month just because we’re aware of what we’re buying. I’m obsessed with EveryDollar and so excited for our financial future. Thank you Dave Ramsey!

Very disappointing

Since last updates have not been able to get into my account! Liked it better when it was a stand alone!

#1 app

I have used it pretty much every single day for more than 3 years and plan to keep doing so for the rest of my life. Good job Ramsey team! 5 stars

BEST BUDGETING APP

Love Ramsey Solutions and this app especially. Can be used free with no bank account attached (like a modern pen and paper tracking) or link your bank accounts for yearly $99.99 (second year in and totally love it).

Better before the updates

I used this app all the time a couple years ago, and I LOVED it back then specifically because it wasn’t actually connected to your bank account and didn’t pull transactions automatically. In my experience with other apps that DO pull that automatically (like Clarity), the transactions are always late and categorized incorrectly so there is a lot of manual effort to sort it through. I also prefer to not have it linked for security reasons. However, this app has since been updated with Ramsey, and although you don’t need to link an account for this app to work, it’s really annoying and cluttered because most of the functionality is built for that now. Also, for some reason it doesn’t allow me to edit any planned budget item after it’s made- it defaults back to zero if I try to edit, so I have to delete it and start again. The search for a plain and simple budget app to manually input my budget and expenses has to begin again, I think :(

Love the app

So I love using the EveryDollar app, the only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the app does not offer the feature of how much you owe on a debt you are tracking , but they do offer it on the desk top . If they were to add this on the app then I would change the rating to a 5 star.
