Good but needs to auto categorize

lauralovesniro

The one thing this app is missing that other finance apps have is the ability to automatically categorize transactions into categories. For example, I was to say every time there is a transaction for Amazon I want it to go into the shopping category. Other than that one missing feature this app is fantastic.

No rotation support?

traviswmark

I like the App and concept, but no rotation support for the iPad makes it difficult to use

Frustrating & Disappointing

I paid for a year of this app. One month in, it refuses to recognize one of my accounts. Support keeps telling me it does. Dude, I know what I am looking at, and one of my accounts is not showing up.

The perfect budget app worth subscription!

I have downloaded almost every budget app there is but none help me take control of my finances and help get myself out of debt like this one. Has very consistent and updated sync with bank unlike other apps that are several days behind. This app along with Dave Ramsey principle helped me get out of 10s of thousands of credit card debt in months not years. I highly recommend. The other apps are free because there made by banks and endorsed by credit card companies to keep you on debt with an illusion of control. You can tell the way the app is made it’s not after any other agenda then to be a service to help people. I do wish it was a bit cheaper a month but if that’s what it takes to have premium service than it’s worth it to be debt free!

App won’t load transactions

Adamscn

If you don’t bank with a large nationwide bank, don’t waste your money on paying for it to import your transactions. I’ve had the app 8 months and it has had issues with my transactions not loading over 20 times where support doesn’t know how to fix it.

Best ever !

I have tried so many times to budget... but then a surprise expense would pop up and ruin the whole thing! THIS APP CHANGED THAT! I can now move the money around and meet goals faster than I though possible! I feel so much more in charge of my income now!! FIVE STARS FOR SURE

Landscape on tablet PLEASE ??

ArmyPrincess2010

Love the app, I just wish it would rotate to landscape while I’m on my iPad. No other issues so far ?

This app worked well (enough) for the first year, and was the first finance app I ever opted to pay for. Its user interface is logical and convenient (enough), when not glitching and only if connected to data or wifi (it will definitely let you complete a lot of work while not connected, only to lose it all). BUT, and this is a huge but.... it is TRASH at keeping institutions connected, constantly having you login, reconnect, verify... and when Paypal stopped working there was ZERO response from customer service. After FOUR MONTHS. I could understand a "we're working on this" or even a "we are having trouble solving this", but for an app that I have spent nearly $300 on to be SILENT to known issues raised in every possible platform... utterly disrespectful. I had heard from many folks not to trust this app or its creator... that it was predatory... but it still took me two years to unsubscribe. DO NOT USE THIS APP. It is a complete waste.

Getting used to it

Getting used to applying the charges to line items

Gone downhill

This app has been a vital tool for my family for a very long time. In the last year or so performance had declined significantly. Aside from occasional connection issues with my bank, which I don’t mind, I have had frequent issues with duplicate transactions for both income and expenses. The most frustrating issue is entire transactions that don’t import at all. I reached out in July and was told my issue was “rare,” a lie, as indicated by numerous reviews from people with the same problem. I received a condescending response explain in that ED couldn’t balance my checkbook for me and that I still needed to double check my transactions..well no kidding. If I’m doing my budget and have accounted for x amount for groceries that month, and 2 groceries transactions don’t load, my checking account balance is irrelevant. What I’m being told is I basically need to keep a pen and paper list of those charges so I can cross check it with ED to make sure they’re all accounted for and I have the correct amount of funds remaining for my monthly budget. That’s, absurd. I may as well do it all by pen and paper then because what should have created convenience had doubled or sometimes tripled the time needed to work on my finances. I’m very disappointed that this seems to be an ongoing issue for many. After several months one would think developers would have a fix, it was never an issue for the longest time so clearly it’s possible. For what we pay for this, it should be reliable technology.
