What changed?

The latest update introduced VERY slow features on my phone. There have been occasional pauses over time but now with the update every feature has a delay. Up to five seconds waiting for transactions to save, even just to scroll is a headache. It’s too buggy for me to continue unless fixed. HELP!

FI Removed from Supported Institutions

We’ve been using this app for a few years now, but within the last couple weeks noticed that our primary financial institution was removed from support...even though Finicity supports it still. Happy to update this review when fixed.

Fantastic App! But, sign ip via web browser

Love the app. Very easy to use. The only thing I would recommend is signing up/ upgrading with a web browser rather than in the app (tends to glitch out).

The most recent update is PERFECT

Don’t change it! Thank you for going back to the scroll style date selector, and THANK YOU FOR FINALLY ALLOWING LANDSCAPE MODE FOR IPAD! All very good things. My wife and I have been using EveryDollar for almost 3 years now and it’s been a huge blessing. The format is perfect, even for basic budgeting. Best budget app on the market.

Fussy and not very helpful

Way too complicated and budget split doesn’t help. Synching with bank account feature is pretty hopeless. Does not help pit you in control of finances. But is marginally better than inputting on a spreadsheet.

Great until recently

This app has been great for the past two years since i have started using it. It has simplified my budget and financial life. I dont know what they changed but the app has become sluggish and a chore to use. Between recording a transaction, the screen will freeze up for 15 seconds before I am able to enter my next transaction. Another problem is with the searching of previous recorded transactions. When i attempt to search, the app no longer is smooth but lags. I am not sure what they did but I really hope the developers fix it as this has become frustrating

It WAS a great app but NOW it’s useless

When I first started using EveryDollar it was a god send. It made budgeting so easy for someone like me. BUT recently the app shows duplicate transactions 2-3 times which have to be deleted manually so they don’t get accounted for multiple times throwing off my budget numbers. Ramsey support said it was an issue with my bank (regions) but it happens with any bank (ORNL) I connect to it and it doesn’t happen with my banks connected to any of their competitors apps. Ramsey support has been been very gracious in their responses but they are blaming the banks and the problem isn’t getting resolved. Until they fix the issue I will not renew my subscription to Ramsey+ as the budgeting app is the main reason we continue to subscribe. Ramesy+ please fix this issue or lose a loyal customer for life. Once I find a new budget app that works for me I will not be back.

Losing its value

Used to love this app. Now however, more intuitive and less costly apps are dominating this space. Truebill is a perfect example of this. Automatically syncs with banks, I pay what I think is fair, and I get all the benefits. I can create budgets, download reports, add investment accounts all for half the price of this app. Personal Capital is another top notch choice. Even Quicken on my desktop along with the app is significantly cheaper than this option.

Glitchy

The app would not stay connected with my bank institution. Worked for about 2 weeks then would keep dropping the account. Not able to reconnect through app after it dropped the bank.

Good App, Over Saturated With Adds

It is the best budget app out there, at least for a zero dollar budget. The subscription feature to link with your bank account is one I would recommend passing on. The transactions as heavily delayed, if they show up at all. Also, recently the interface has become riddled with ads for Ramsey’s other services. But overall a solid app.
