The shield icon is not showing up even after restarting!!!! How am I supposed to return to in person classes if this is happening

I need this to get onto the CUNY campus and I cannot get it to work, even after deleting and reinstalling 6 times!

My school requires students to use this app to screen for covid and prove you got the vaccine in order to get onto the campus. For the past year this app has not worked for me at all. I’ve been told to reinstall the app, but now nothing appears for me and I don’t know how I’ll get onto my school’s campus.
The buttons disappear

The shield on the bottom right disappears at random and often won’t come back even after restarting. Poor interface and unreliable system.

Nothing comes up I restarted more then 4 times already. What is going on with this app.
can't access Vaxxpass for CUNY
it won't let me name it BLM
we can't go back to campus until we submit proof of vaccination through Everbridge's Vaxxpass, but the shield icon has disappeared so I can't access the Vaxxpass section of the app. uninstalled many times.

Can’t even get it to begin to work

Had to download this for college. Already wasn’t happy since I already have many other forms of proof of vaccination. Literally the 3rd step in settling it up I can’t do because the “shield icon” isn’t showing up on any page, even after refreshing and restarting the app.
Awful user experience

My company decided to use this app for regional emergency alerts and I really hope they didn’t pay money for a contract. The user experience is awful. Since my company will also send me texts if there’s an emergency, I’m not sure why I’d need this awful app too, so I’ve deleted it.
