I love this app!! They have so many good books new and older. I wish I could keep them is my only complaint. They do change them up sometimes and I have to change up what I want to listen or read next.
Hated it 101
Tried canceling through Apple Pay, app, and website. Will not let me unsubscribe thus causing my account to overdraft.

The interface is great and so is the selection, but you aren’t really unlimited. I’m a heavy audiobook user and ran into an issue with loading titles that suddenly became unavailable. After some research I discovered they throttle access. So I’m annoyed. If they had been upfront (and didn't hide it in the fine print) and would have been ok with it (or at least I could have made a better cost comparison). But this feels like a bait and switch. Not cool. Pretty shady Scribd.

I tried the free subscription option first and really liked it but they were some books where it showed available soon ...on the date my free subscription ends.So I thought that maybe I need to be full paying subscriber to access those books. I let the subscription date roll..03/06/18 and was even able to listen one of the audiobooks I wanted that I was unable to before.Once I finished that book and wanted to read or listen to the next one in the series now it shows Available Soon 04/06/18. Really so I can’t read or listen and have to wait another whole month to read the next book? Today I was not even able to see the home tab/page its blank.. I have access to explore, saved and account tab/pages and they load up fine but home screen is blank just has loading circle when I try to access.I deleted app and tried it again still same issue on ipad. My note5 phone app is accessible for now.But please fix the ipad/iphone app.

I love the idea of an à la carte approach to books, audiobooks, and more, but frankly the app is poor. The biggest issue for me is audio playback. It works roughly half the time and when it does work it takes ages to load (even though the book is stored offline). It will jump around between chapters of an audiobook with no explanation and often it when you pause partially through a chapter and leave the app it will lose your place and start you back over at the beginning of the chapter. The interface could use some work as well, things aren’t organized well and while there is support for iPhone X, the Play/Pause/Skip buttons are placed poorly, much too close to the bottom edge of the display. I really want to love this service, but until audio playback is fixed I just can’t recommend it.

There was a problem with the app causing it to crash every time an audiobook went into another chapter, but this fixed itself after two updates. I should point out it took leaving a negative review to get customer service to contact me regarding the issue, but the app itself is worth trying out.
