Push notifications

I really wish this app would stop changing my settings on push notifications. I don’t really care about the “News Alerts” and have turned them off several times to only get them again later on. I only care about the teams I follow and the periodic score updates on their games. As of right now, I can’t even change my alert preferences. Any time I try to it sits there with a constant loading screen. Update: thought the notification issue was fixed. I have all news alerts turned off and still get notifications on things I find irrelevant.
No, I won’t sign in with my TV provider

I used the ESPN app for checking scores and keeping up with my favorite teams and leagues. And it crashes from time to time but besides that, it worked well. I’m signed in through my email, but not from my TV provider. I don’t even watch any videos on the app. But every time I would open the app now, it prompted me to sign in with my TV provider. I got sick and tired of always declining to do so and deleted the app.

You get great content but you have to watch so many videos and ads it’s a strong turn off. I only use it mainly to check scores and game times and what channel the game is on

Too many times I have had the Blackout Message on a game, let’s say played in Dallas versus Florida. And I live in Ann Arbor. And I can’t get an answer from ESPN .
