I purchased the app to watch hockey. There are quite a few games on regularly that you can choose from. However, if the game is aired on ESPN and not ESPN+, they ask for a TV provider…..seems like I already payed for The ESPN network/app, why would I need to provide anything else to watch my game? Nickel and Diming at its best!!

This app isn’t that bad

I like this app. It does give you scores and news about players on teams. The only issue I have is when I want to watch a live game it works once but when I exit out for a while and try to go back In it loads and doesn’t let me watch. I have to uninstall and reinstall this app. Please fix this and make the live games at television speed so it is the right time. Otherwise really good job.

I wanted subscribe on the app but had major issues with the app and their customer support. I cancelled and still be charged. Being in the complete business for over 40 years and working for the #1 cell phone company, I know what I’m doing. This company makes it impossible to use with ease

Pago la suscripción para ver un partido de fútbol, resultar después de pagar la suscripción me dicen que el partido no está disponible en mi región! ¿Es en serio? ¿No sería mejor dar esa información antes de que la persona pague la suscripción? Pésimo

ESPN is such a pain to deal with. I pay for ESPN plus but can’t connect my phone to a TV to watch on a bigger screen. Replays are not immediately available. ESPN cares about nothing but money; forget the customer experience. Can’t wait for La Liga to broadcast elsewhere.

Every time I want to watch a game on ESPN3, I have to sign in with my tv provider every time I click on a game. And when I do sign in it will keep on taking me back to the login page.

Tons of content, terrible UX

It’s a shame that ESPN owns so much content because it’s hidden behind an awful interface with constant authentication issues. If you want to watch Tom Brady, it’s probably good for that, but if you actually want to choose what you watch, good luck - if you figure out which combination of menu choices will get you to the list of events, there’s still a good chance you won’t be able to watch them. The app might just decide that you’ve been logged out, but won’t tell you, or it’ll forget your TV provider credentials even though you already have them stored on the iPad, or it’ll just sit there and do nothing with no message at all. Given how much Disney should be putting into ESPN, it’s no wonder that other streaming apps like P+ are abysmal, because if this is the best that’s out there, there’s really no hope for the other sports apps.
