Had to re-download afyer a year or so. The app is phenominal, except you cannot change any of the Dashboard anymore. I cannot change anything on the Dashboars. That is my only grip, otherwise it’s a solid app.

It won't connect to Bluetooth while running in the background like the previous app did. I now must open the app and connect before I drive away whereas before it automatically connected as soon as I entered my car and turned the escort Max II on. Otherwise the app looks nicer than the previous version
Miles per hour is not tracking correctly

Is there a fix to track MPH accurately on the phone. The phone app is always 5 MPH faster than the actual speed of the car. Everything else works great but the inaccurate tracking of MPH is very frustrating. Please help!

Speed limit feature has been a major problem with old version app. I had hard time to make it work. Registered with Escort IX. After the recent update no matter what I do, I couldn’t get it to work. Speed limit display is a great feature ONLY when it works! Update. I got an email from Escort “For further assistance, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-974-3138” I did contact customer service before I received the email. Customer rep. said it is strange he will share the information with developers. Still not solved this issue. 2nd Update Called customer support again since it works fine with my wife’s iphone. Customer rep said about 30% of users have same issue like me. “No speed limit displayed on the app and speed detector.” Rep said he cannot fix this issue. He said it is app issue not a device issue. They are working with T-mobile to resolve this issue but they haven’t found the reason yet. According to the rep next update will fix this issue.
Voice alert is awful

Let me start by saying, I paid for the substitution. Developers of this app chose a cheap barely un-audible voice that breaks up. It’s a voice from the Packman era. I ride a motorcycle and have been using Escort radar detectors for years and this app is very disappointing. In the era of WAZE and google maps with clear voice alerts ESCORT cuts corners and delivers crap! Stay away until it’s fixed.
Shuts down, on its own while driving.

I would give it 5 stars except it shuts down while driving quite often. The older version worked a lot better.

This unit is doing A LOT of heavy lifting that’s well worth the cost! The hardware capability is more than I expected and Escort will have a repeat customer here. However, the Bluetooth connect/sync could use a bit of work under the hood. The last app version I never had to think about connectivity with app/phone, but about half the time I need to go into iPhone Bluetooth and “manually” connect. It’s not a showstopper by any means, but still a minor inconvenience that should be looked into. 07/11/19 Update: I think the culprit with the Bluetooth connectivity I detailed above is my iPhone. If I cycle the Bluetooth before powering up the detector that seems to resolve the connectivity issue. My bad!!!

What is a good app for a Motorcycle however what is a good app for a Motorcycle however no after the new updates warning does not transmit via Bluetooth! And the visual on the screen is now minimal! I guess the developer never considered some people need the app as a visual warning or an audible warning via Bluetooth!
