Everyday is a hassle trying to connect with the app...really annoying for the money I spent on a good radar to have it not work with this app... what like 5 year this app has been out and they can’t fix the problem really tell you about how the company doesn’t care. The resent update didn’t make any minor difference as it claims... I’m done with the bulls**t fix it motherf*****s!!!! >:[

Completely Defective with iOS 11

First off I must say I have been a huge fan of the Escort radar Max 360 detecter since its launch 2 years ago. The main reason why I purchased this detector was because of the Escort Live App which warns of live alerts as reported by other Escort users and even manages to filter out unwanted K band false alarms. However after renewing my Escort Live subscription for the second time, I have found out that this app no longer works with iOS 11 nor do they have a fix scheduled. I called Escort several times and after being put on hold for over 30 minutes at a time, spoke to different reps who stated they are aware of the app issues but have no way of resolving it yet. Without this app the radar detector is no better than any cheap one on the market and to make things worse, you need the app to change the detectors settings. Stay away from this using this app or Escort detectors it until they do their job and fix this thing.

Please bring Apple CarPlay Support

UPDATE THE RARAR DETECTOR USING THE COMPUTER THERES A FIRMWARE UPDATE THAT FIXES THE BLUETOOTH ISSUES App is glitchy, should be able to have more options for over speed like be able to have it for one speed you can set (can do this without live connected) also more options for speed over speed limit. It would be nice to be able to update the radar using the app and Bluetooth from phone. Better integration with other apps like maps or waze would be great

The app works flawlessly. All you have to do is: 1. Turn the car on 2. Unplug the radar 3. Goto settings—>Bluetooth settings on your iPhone 4. Select the Passport that is already connected to your phone 5. Select “forgot this device” 6. Put the Plug back into the radar 7. Go back to Bluetooth settings and wait for the Radar to re-appear and connect with the phone 8. Now you’re able to use the app. The next time you turn your car off and back on, all you have to do is repeat steps 1-8. It’s just that easy! Talk about user friendly. Why would any reasonable person think this is not user friendly??

The app is malfunctioning again. When you try to open the app and log in a msg comes on stating "the data couldn't read because is not in the right format" App needs to be fixed as soon as possible. With the new update to the IOS 11 this app is useless now. Y’all need to figure out a way to update this or get this problem fix as soon as possible. I got 2 escort passport max 360’s and they both won’t connector the app.

Been using the app along with my radar for a week now and everything is working as it should. Still learning different features that this app offers and also I believe that the issue that everyone is running into is that you need your location services on for this app. I had the same issues until I have gave permission for this app to see my location only while using the app. This worked for me. Bluetooth stays connected even while I run into the store. So for me the app work well. Looks cheaply done but it works!

The Bluetooth connection problem is still not fixed. My iPhone X will connect to my Max2, but the app nor the radar detector show a Bluetooth connection.

Honestly, I love(d) the app. Had no problem dishing out the $50 to keep it premium, until now. The Bluetooth issue needs to be resolved. I can be connected to my detector in my iPhone Bluetooth settings but neither the app nor the detector communicate. I had only a few issues with this before iOS 11. But honestly, how can you charge $50 for a service that can’t be used? Is that money not going towards app development? Perhaps, you guys at Escort should start from scratch on a new app same features but brand new code so these problems won’t persist.
