No advancements made?

After two years since my last review, none of my concerns have since been addressed, and for that I need to lower my rating. There's still no option for shelf-type curves, the auto-normalizer still isn't great, and the UI is still a mess. It honestly appears as though it's barely changed in that two-year gap. I can't say there are any better EQ's on the App Store, but, quite honestly, none of the available EQ's are of particularly high quality. Major advancements will have to be made in order to please the market most likely looking for a more pro-grade EQ. These EQ's certainly don't please me as a mixing engineer in training.

Great App

Wonda1968

I use the app for my personal music and DJ sessions and it works perfectly for me, also I have had to email Support twice and they responded within minutes. It would be nice if other developers did the same.

Apple Music

Can you guys make it compatible with Apple Music because it always said you need to download it from iCloud even though I already have

Great equalizer customization, user interface not very good.

(Used on an iPhone 7) Let me start off by saying if you're looking for a great customization to get just the right sound for your headphones or any kind of tweaks you like in your music, this app is great!! The issue I do however have is the user interface which isn't exactly the most eye appealing (outdated can I say? Compared to many others), user friendly, or seamlessly functional. For example, let's say I just open the app and want to listen to a specific artist with all of their albums on shuffle, I can't do that by going to the artist in the directory and click a shuffle button at the top because it's none existent. I have to search for the artist in the search bar to find the artist and the songs then click on one song and then a shuffle button will appear. By the way the albums won't be noted/separate if you do it this way, you'll have a list of hundreds of songs if an artist has a lot of albums, that's why this method is only for shuffling. Okay now let's say I want to listen to an artists album then go back a page and pick another album. Can't to do that. I have to click on the music note, find the artist again, and then find the album I want to listen to. Another issue that can get bothersome over time that actually made my friend stop using the app is the next/previous song delay as you switch songs. If I am in the middle of a song and decided I want to change it and press the forward button, it's a good 2-3 second delay before it actually changes to the next track. This sometimes causes me to double skip tracks because I don't think it registered the first time. Frustrating needless to say. Other than that this is a great app and if they fixed these issues and updated the interface (maybe even added a visualizer like 'Electric Sheep') to be more eye appealing and user friendly it would be the best app on the market hands down!!

I thought I can adjust settings and then play APPLE MUSIC. No! They want you to use this player and download songs from icloud in a complicated way into there.... Will delete it.

Not made for people who want to use Apple Music

I own all of my music, so for me this application is awesome!

Update: 9/22/17 - App keeps crashing after iOS 11 update The ability to sort albums by date they were added would be a handy addition. Love the product otherwise

Highly recommended!! Buy it!!

Nice changes although navigation is a little confusing. Although you can now access the EQ curve from almost anywhere, there's only a progress meter at the bottom, but no information on elapsed time and remaining time. In order to do get this, you now tap Dismiss then tap the the button on the upper left which takes you the settings screen where you can see the scrolling song title along with the elapsed time and remaining time along with the settings and the spectrum analyzer superimposed in the background. The cross fade can be adjusted or it can remain off. The lyric display still doesn't work, though. However, I'll still recommend this App since it also comes with automatic normalization which prevents clipping, which is not offered by other equalizer apps. When at the playlist screen, tilt your device horizontally and you get to see a spectrum analyzer display which I find cool. Despite a little confusing UI, this is the best equalizer app. Update: Installed the update. Works better and now the artwork is perfectly centered. Kudos to the developer for the best equalizer app. This one does what no other does. It actively normalizes the volume level to prevent distortion. Sometimes it can be a bit too aggressive, though so adjust your settings accordingly. This update fixes the crash issue and now it works like it did before. Recommended for those who find the EQ settings on the default music app limited, which are in my opinion, dull and lifeless.
