Saved my bacon

Windsailor

Lately I changed a password within my app on my phone first and then tried to do it on my TV not realizing at that time that it would prompt me for my old password first - Luckily Enpass remembered my previous password for that account and I could make the appropriate changes - otherwise I would have been locked out. Whew. And thank you.

Do not update!! ??

Really sad, app is now just like any other in the store, liked it to be 100% offline and to make it worse now asks for subscription ?? The sync to wifi option has been removed!!

Now A Subscription

ArrovvJ

The reason this app was superior was not because it is as polished or feature rich or ubiquitous as other options, but because I was not paying for it over and over and over. So now I am going to pay them over and over and over, and they are going to pretend it is better for me this way. Fantastic.

Terrible update

DO NOT UPDATE THE APP!!! Limits only 25 password unless you pay subscription. You can’t use previous paid feature anymore! I lost 200+ password that I’ve been stored in this app. I’m glad my iPad did not update it yet so I can retrieve these passwords.

Breaking update

Gridikal

Fell into the upgrade trap and lost all the features I’ve already paid for. “Restoring purchases” did not fix the problem (I see that’s what the majority of developer responses are). Steer clear until this is resolved!

Screwing over the Customer

I bought a lifetime subscription several years ago for $10. I’ve used this app, loved it, and recommend it to many of my peers. I will no longer do that. You have now switched to a subscription service, which is fine, except now my “lifetime pass” seems to have lasted only a few years. One of the main draws of your app was that it stood out in a sea of subscription services. I can, however, purchase another one for $50. I upgraded to pro years ago and now my app says “pro revoked”. Are you kidding me? How insulting! I understand that you need to make money, but I already paid you and now you are going back on your word. You are stealing from me what I already have paid for and should have access to. I don’t think it’s outrageous to assume that the lifetime upgrade I paid for would last, I don’t know, a lifetime. This new era of demanding a customer pay for a product that they have already bought and own is outrageous. I am extremely disappointed. I will not do any further business with a company that clearly cares so little for their customers. I understand that you need to make money, but I would never treat anyone that I do business with the way you have treated me. Goodbye Enpass, hello LastPass. Not a joke. As we speak, I am making the switch. Good riddance, no customer should ever be betrayed by a company like this.

Expensive but the best.

SafeAppleUser

Originally a one time purchase app per each device. Now this app either has a one time purchase for all versions or a subscription. I highly recommend the one time purchase for all versions of this app even though it’s expensive. Because this is a app you will use regularly not just for a few months or a year or two. This app is constantly bug fixed and improved regularly. You can store offline or sync with your personal cloud storage service you already use.

Used Empass for several years It gets better and better

Used several password managers and never felt comfortable using them. I have used Enpass for several years and plan to stay with it. It gets better and better

Fix Pro User Re-Enablement

OIAWS

I really like you guys and don’t want to see you go. SaaS is definitely the new model and you guys are right to transition. BUT to those who bought the Pro lifetime subscription - make it easier for them to get it back. I consider myself extremely tech savvy but even I was tripping trying to reactive my legacy Pro subscription. Make it easily available. Your legacy lifetime users will vouch for your product. I love Enpass. It’s aesthetically pretty, exceptionally smooth, and functionally packed. Let us speak to your new customers. Let us tell them how great the software is. Thank you for sending the email about cross platform functionality. That was a smart start. Now make it easier to re-enable Pro lifetime subscriptions.

You nagged me to switch to something new

chekako

I paid, so I don’t get bothered with popups. But you clearly don’t understand that, and you think you can annoy me into “registering “. Bye.
