My go to password manager

Fear the Tree

Despite the popularity of OnePassword, I prefer using enpass much more after using OnePassword for some time. I like the UI of Enpass much better as it has a simpler and sleaker design. Also, despite it costing $10 for the full iOS version of this app, the Mac version is free where as OnePassword's is around $50. This ability to sync my passwords between all my devices is important to me. My one wish for this app is that there were more icons of major companies availible and/or allowed for custom icons from photos.

Best pw manager (by far)

I've been using this for a while, and it does exactly what I need it to do!

Enpass is Superb!

@ResearchLaw

Enpass is an excellent password management app! I've been using Enpass for several months now and have over 30 accounts stored. Enpass has a beautiful and intelligent UI design and allows you to back up your data to your cloud storage solution of choice. App support is superb and very responsive. Further, I am very happy that Enpass provides a lifetime license for a reasonable price rather than requiring an annual recurring paid subscription (see LastPass). I highly recommend Enpass without reservation.

Improving. Good replacement for many other password managers.

Enpass continues to stand out in the password manager market as it has many useful features and an improving design. It is stable and syncs well. However, one area for improvement it lacks is the ability to add attachments to your items. Currently you cannot add a scan of your password or license, etc.

Best Password App

1Macman

This is the best password manager app available. It's affordable, easy to use and works flawlessly. There is even a Mac app, which easily syncs everything, to your computer. If you're looking for a password manager, definitely give this one a try, you'll be glad you did.

Used a few months now...loving it!!!

I desperately (words can't emphasize enough) needed to get on top of wrangling my passwords. Grab this app now before they start charging an arm and leg. Good stuff here.

Bottom line: This is a keeper. Here's why (my analysis and experience ) I have about 90 mostly super secure passwords. I care about my password security so I update many of the important ones periodically. I need to sync them across our household devices, iPads, iPhones, Windows PC and find I'm often adding or deleting usernames and passwords and login notes. I've tried and used many of the highly rated non subscription PW managers, free and paid for and had settled in on 1Password for over a year until they changed it to an annual subscription which, despite my need for something good is totally not worth it. I used Windows Roboform for many years before that when it was the king of password managers - and then it became a subscription. I will never do a subscription PW manager especially as, from what I can see, none of them is perfect. Some websites use added steps or time dependent fields to make sure your not attacking them and those added security steps trip up password managers. So, I find that the best password managers make it easy for you to sign in on websites that aren't trying to beat you up with added security AND they also offer easy workarounds and 'it kinda works ok' login procedures for websites that are trying hard to make your login experience miserable. Enpass is one of the best, if not the best for dealing with a wide range of website idiosyncrasies. I've now settled in in Enpass and have been using it for about 6 months. Here's what I find: 1: syncing between devices.... Awesome. I'm really happy as I can sync everything to iCloud and then sync it again to Dropbox. The free Windows version for PC syncs beautifully too and that's a big deal. Everything updates and couldn't be better. 2: ease of sign in on sites that aren't trying to mess with you... Very good 3: ease of sign in on sites that are trying to make your login experience miserable. Fair to very good depending on circumstances. Enpass is flexible and intuitive once you use it. I like it. 4: the internal workings, editing, generating secure passwords, fingerprint, password field management, password field editing, folders, etc ... Really very good. I'm pleased. 5: Beauty... It's not so much beautiful as it is practical. Having more website icons associated with passwords would make it prettier. It's beauty is its practicality and that means to me that it is beautifully done software. It never crashes or locks up. 6: Intuitiveness... Very good it's similar to a lot of other password managers but seems a little more friendly all around. Notice I gave it 5 stars but didn't say it was perfect. I'm giving it 5 stars because I think that for each performance feature it's equal to or better than every other PW manager I've ever tried, tested for a while or purchased. I think it's worth the one time price.

Does what it's supposed to.

The app does everything you'd expect it to. It syncs quickly with the desktop version, is easy to access passwords quickly and safely by using Touch ID, generates strong passwords based on your criteria. And of course saves all your log in info with the ability to add custom fields.

Perfect!

Great password manager that doesn't try to screw you with reoccurring service fees!
