I have tried about 7 different VPN services for Mac and iOS, some work great on Mac but not on iOS, and some the other way around. Now that there are so many varieties of Mac and iOS malware infections that do everything from wipe your device to take it over all together, it is essential to be protected on the road as well as at home. I like that you can simply trust or un-trust networks--any network--and cloak takes it from there without having remember to manually connect, this has become the best app on the market. Cloak warns you the moment you go to a fraudulent site or are on an untrusted network. Their “Over Cloak" adds yet another layer of security. It used to slow down my speeds a bit, but the new version has solved that problem. When I had an issue or simply did not understand something, their support was immediate and outstanding. I traveled to Europe and used Cloak, and felt really good to know I could still connect to my country of choice, or to the US if I wanted to watch HBO abroad. It worked behind the scenes, with a minimal amount of configuration. I highly recommend this application for all your devices, and cannot be happier with their support staff. I whole heartedly second the reviewer who said: “it just works."
No more HBO Max

I installed Encrypt.me today on iPhone Lost my ability to stream using HBO Max. No tech support available because it’s a holiday (when I actually have time for installing software). I’ve tried toggling off the VPN, but it doesn’t help. Have family plan. Husband wasn’t able to complete his Encrypt.me registration today so he can still stream HBO Max. Error message says HBO Max is only available in US. I’m in St. Louis. Error message says to contact my isp. Spectrum says their only suggested fix is to completely uninstall Encrypt.me app. Disappointed. Had read good reviews about Encrypt.me. Bought eero secure plus mainly to get vpn. Now I’m worried about what else is no longer going to work because of this vpn.

It works very well on public Wi-Fi. However, it doesn’t work very well on my home network. I constantly have to check it to make sure that it’s connected to the Internet and encrypting my network.Plus, it Interferes with Siri commands. If that gets fixed, I would give it five stars.
Even free, not worth it.

Constant dropped internet. Stays connected 30 min or so, then drops. I had to reset everything to reconnect. 30 min later, repeat. I’m done.
