In a rental house at the beach and I’m blocked with no way to get unblocked. This needs to be more user friendly.

Not compatible with iOS 15. Can’t detect the Wi-Fi name. Hope this gets fixed soon.

I submitted a review criticizing their support team and the review was never posted! I would imagine their rating would be closer to 3 stars if they posted EVERY RATING they received, instead of only those that were favorable.

The app does not detect SSID in iOS 15. Seems since this was an issue with iOS 13 they would have tested this prior to iOS 15 launching.

Everything is great as long as you’re on a “trusted” network. If you’re not, it blocks EVERYTHING. Which is meant to protect you. The whole point of this app/service is so that you can connect to most anything and it’s supposed to secure and make safe that network. I have yet to find a network where this does that. It just auto blocks all connectivity and secures nothing. Forcing me to go onto cellular where I might not always have great service or “trust” the network and hope I don’t get hacked. Which is what was done pre this service. What’s the point of having encryption if it doesn’t allow you to do anything, for your own safety???

Works as you would expect. Used for over 6 months and love it! Highly recommended.

Works well enough but I haven’t seen a significant update in years. Needs some basic UX improvements like pinning favorite locales, showing average speeds, etc. It also doesn’t work for major streaming providers but that’s not their fault—would just be a huge plus if they did. I’ll probably switch VPN providers if they don’t add this.

This app works for a while, then messes up my network connection. Messages stop working, emails don’t go through, etc. I always have to reinstall this app to get it to work properly. This has been going on for several years. I don’t think the developers know how to fix this issue. The only reason I use Encrypt.me is it came free wit an eero+ subscription, otherwise I would ditch this annoyingly inconsistent app.
