Find the game very enjoyable, but gaining squads is a bit hard.

Elvenar is a city building game, where progress is limited by real time. I estimate two years to reach end game playing 20 minutes a day. I find it to be more economics based than combat and thus is a fresh reprieve. This app was designed as a companion app to web game. It lets you do things on the go. Since the game is based on real time, this is a major benefit. The major benefit to me is that helping neighbors is much faster, largely due to not having to load the whole map and assets. The drawback is not all features are implemented, most noteworthy is tactical combat. But this is minor aspect that can wait till you get to a pc.

Thought this game would be a nice diversion. Read some of the reviews before starting and most said would not need to spend real cash to play. That said, you don't have to spend cash if you are willing to advance at snail's pace. The game is constantly crashing. Very disappointing game and I am really beginning to hate it the longer I play it.

SLOW....like watching paint dry. Could be better if production and upgrade times took less HOURS, up to full day on some. How is this “fun?” What has the potential to be fun fell flat - what is the point when the game painfully crawls at a snails pace and never goes anywhere??

Not suitable for iPad

Can’t visit other cites or trade good if you play on iPad...disappointing. Can’t sign up for forum because you need user name and password...tried that...my user name and password are not recognized. Very frustrated! Will likely delete the game. No help from support.

Fun game. The only problem is that there is no way to play without spending a lot of money to buy diamonds and no way to earn them.
