Would love to use the Trips, but the date selection is weird and cumbersome. Can’t we just have a simple DD-MM-YY selection? There isn’t a year selection, but I can select down to the minute? Not many trips start at the minute- please fix this.

I have set up an account but it tells me the login failed every time I try to use the app. I have repeatedly gone through the process of resetting the password. I am stuck in a loop of resetting my password and then having the login fail.

I’ve been in contact with the eBird people, no help. Bird surveys would be so much easier if the app worked! Zero stars, really.

Error message claims “can’t connect to server. Check your internet connection and try again.” A connection which obviously exists.

It does what it is designed to do well(record data in the field), but by not having an option for accessing the ebird maps and hotspots, it is seriously lacking. I wouldn’t mind as much if ebird had a mobile version of its website, but as far as I’m aware they do not. This makes using their maps and navigating their website often very irritating.

I love this app (mostly on the desktop at this point). Constantly getting an “Error. EBird cannot access the server. Please check your internet connection and try again.” It’s been a week now. How do we fix this?

I think that this app is awesome it helps you figure out what birds you’ve been seeing. So once you open up the app eBird you click something that says checklist then it says where you live and then you click that. That’s how you get to do it.

No more having to go to website to edit a list. Love that this can now be done in the app itself. Now if I could figure out how to add media to an unusual sighting, all my needs would be met.

VERY limited. The ONLY thing you can do with this app is create and submit a checklist of birds you’ve ID’d. Other useful features of the website, such as linking with members of your group and seeing what other birders have spotted nearby, are not available. Why?

Just downloaded this — and nothing about it makes any sense. I use Cornell’s Merlin ID APP and thought was worked in conjunction but who knows. Oh well.
