Love the app- please fix the date selection in trips – eBird Review

Would love to use the Trips, but the date selection is weird and cumbersome. Can’t we just have a simple DD-MM-YY selection? There isn’t a year selection, but I can select down to the minute? Not many trips start at the minute- please fix this.
