Revision 1.7.0

I enjoy the app however do not recommend this version. It made the app unusable on my iPhone 6+ using iOS 11.4.1. App now tries to update and then crashes after several minutes. I have been resisting deleting the app and reinstalling hoping a new update comes out which installs correctly.

Update Causes App To Not Work!

Jay Disappointed

Updated 2 days ago and app will no longer work. When its tapped to open, message states updating and then just shuts down. Forums online reveal many experiencing. Cornell not responding to inquiries. Cannot access unsubmitted lists. Where are you Cornell?!

Doesn’t play well with iPhone

wyotamale

Super bummed this app won’t load my eBird lists, everything is there but “won’t connect with server” no matter what I try. Would love to use this app but I’m not getting rid of my iPhone :(

Privacy concerns

Kwolfbyte

I’ve not signed up for this app since you have to create an account to submit data. That PLUS the fact that you give specific info where you spot a bird is concerning. Especially since the prime locations where a person would be are their home and work locations. I see another reviewer also has this same concern

Glitchy

inkydinkyoink

Most recent update deletes tallied birds when the app refreshes necessitating keeping the app open at all times when birding. Previous versions did not have this problem.

Amazing Info

Tyler (Birder) George

I write articles about birding, usually about Ohio birding and the seasons. This has helped me so much to learn what birds are where and if there is anything special happening in a certain season!

Issue

pekddn

When I go to see my life list on the app, an error pop up pops up and it doesn’t allow me to see it. Why?

Not working

Mymephone

It’s a negative for me. This app is not working at all

Does not work on remote areas

BetoVeMu

Does not work on places where you don’t have phone coverage.

Nice idea, poorly executed

Greg1026

Poor usability, dies not follow app standards (e.g., one accidental swipe in the map and it zooms to current location.) Haven’t been able to input even one sighting because “eBird cannot contact the server” (and its not my phone cause all other apps get to the internet fine). Nice idea, poor user interface, poor execution.
