App and company have gone downhill over time

Jnachod2015

I have enjoyed the variety of shifts easyshift offers - checking on alcohol promos, whether products are in stock or not, or seeing if displays are set up to promote something. Some of the jobs are very fairly paid for the amount of work required while others are a bit more work for the money than I'd like. All in all it occasionally is fair in the end. Some shifts require many more pictures than is really necessary for the company to get the data, especially compared to other popular apps that are used for retail auditing. Unfortunately a lot of stores and managers don't like "mystery shoppers" and pictures and can get quite nasty with people using this app. A few CVS stores in Philly have given me a hard time. And I was actually detained by loss prevention and searched (illegally!) at the door at a Dollar General while using this app because they thought I was violating a no loitering policy. If you're thinking of using this App you'll probably be fine a lot of the time but be prepared for a bad experience if you shift long enough.

Must update my review!

Well, I really think Easy Shift is working hard to change their image. The last several shifts I accepted did not call for all the extraneous photos of the front & back aisles and perimeter aisles. I was able to get in and out and complete the shift in a short period of time! That, as well as receiving payment within hours, has changed my perspective on this app! Easy Shift, thank you and you are once again becoming a favorite! Blessings to all your staff!!!

Not great

Umm... Nick

The pay got so low, it doesn't always cover the expenses (you do have to drive to the location). Don't be surprised if you find yourself working 90 minutes for 6 dollars (that's 2 or 3 dollars after taxes and expenses). And don't be surprised if you don't get paid at all (they can reject your work at any time and they don't explain why).

Terrible support team/low pay

Was my favorite crowd sourcing app for years but I refuse to work for $3! Payment has dropped by 50%, number of photos needed has tripled, there is no shifter support, shifts are rejected unfairly and without reason or explanation, payments take longer than stated in user agreement, and emails are never answered. It has gone down hill drastically in the last year. Don't waste your time or GB. All positive reviews are fake, posted by quri support team. Shame on you, EasyShift, for turning into a cut throat, unprofessional, greedy company.

Don't do it!

SummerSunSweetheart

LIES! Beware! The reviewers who say you can make $20 in 20 minutes and that the shifts are easier are liars & plants from the company. Sebastien is their project manager. You'll be very sorry. It's buggy, pay has dropped drastically. It closes while your trying to work and after submitting tens or hundreds of UNDERCOVER photos in the middle of a store, it won't let you submit the job, loses connection, gives an error message, etc. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Move on. UPDATE 4/2/16: and now they're not approving jobs, not answering appeals & emails. Go elsewhere, this app is tanking FAST!

Payment is a joke

Alycja

For all the hassle required to do a job and print stuff and talk to associate and for 15 questions for measly 3 dollars. Minus gas and taxes I have to pay it equals working for free!!! They require store address that is never available and they reject missions for no good reasons. Are you kidding me?! Don't even bother.

Unfair "incentives" shifts and super-slow pay.

Update 8/16- nothing really changed. Maybe some wording changes. This used to be a good app company. Now it's having you as app user taking more pics for less pay. Sad. Also-they have been paying super late, as in 2-3 weeks, recently. Update (4/2016) They have done nothing to inform their users of the recent "incentive pay" listed on some jobs. This app has gone down the drain, with the recent 67% for some shifts, most have dropped pay by 33% (March 2016). If I could give it zero stars, I would. This used to be a great app. So, if you like not knowing what you are going to get paid, go ahead and download this app. Until they correct this obvious lapse in judgment/leadership, people should stay away from this app. That is, of course, if you want to work for peanuts. (More like peanut shells)

ES Reporting is a joke! (And I've seen them!)

Update8/25: READ THIS!! THEY HAVE STARTED BANNING PEOPLE WHO LET JOBS EXPIRE!!! If you get sick unexpectedly or called into work (your real job, that actually pays you decently), and you're unable to complete your $3.25 easy shifts? That's grounds for being suspended! No warning, no communication - just a sea of grey pins and no idea what happened. Quri is a shady company who won't be around in five years. Don't waste your time here. Seriously don't...feel free to read the rest of my "blog" ;) Update7/7: These jobs are still a joke but there are still people desperate enough who don't realize the TRUE COST of these jobs...after gas, car Maintenance and taxes you make pennies for these jobs - plus data and phone costs? You'll never be wealthy from this app - don't waste your time. Update6/5: people who give anything more than one star are probably the same people who are scooping up the 150pt MB jobs. YOU WILL NEVER BE FINANCIALLY STABLE doing this; especially if you're honest and file taxes correctly. YOU ARE LOSING HERE. But by all means keep making that dollar fifty at a time, the car & school will be paid off soon. Riiiiiiiiight. Please just respect yourselves enough to know what your time is worth and don't be so desperate to bottom feed. Update4/20: even with all your app updates Sleazyshaft I will continue to make sure this stays here. People deserve to know what you as a company are doing! I always went the extra mile for this company and it means nothing. Please new folks: RESEARCH before using this app. Many other apps pay better and require much less work; does it make sense to make $3 for taking 30+ pictures? Absolutely not! I was doing $5 jobs (two per store for $10/store) today and doing BOTH jobs required approximately 20-25 pics (I always send extra), and it paid fairly! Once I got the pattern down I could do BOTH in less than 10 minutes total. Avoid [NOT]Easyshift! This company doesn't care about its workforce. This company produces sloppy reporting with no attention to detail - I've seen their "finished product" sent to one of their biggest clients (former occupation), and they decided to "fire" me because I spoke out about poor pay, and lack of communication. I have a double degree in communication studies and analytics - Quri doesn't pass on either and deserves what they get.
