Began using the app in 2014 when it was great. Participated less in 2015 and returned to shifting 2016. Extremely disappointed with the lack of support, inconsistent communication, and be warned that even if you complete a job per exact instructions or not able to for factors outside of your control, rejections seem to have no concrete basis and are completely subjective. Your comments attached with a job will not even be read - evident by the responses that you may receive from ES in the off chance they actually give you a response. Arbitration process is a complete farce, if your work is even looked at again. Don't waste your time, try competitors. As the highest rank of GM and someone who was completing at least 50 shifts a week, this company's actions prove that you are dispensable, are not valued, and worst of all - if you don't like it, tough. Used to love ES but waiting for my last pending shifts to be paid (stated timeframe by ES cannot even be met) and I will be casting my true vote by removing the app. Know your value and respect yourself. Don't be exploited. Maybe the only company that has put me off more then ES is Comcast with the song and dance they will give you, that is, if they even acknowledge you.

Recent good reviews are FISHY, maybe they got paid incentives. If you been around long enough, you know how to compare good and bad apple. Right now, Easyshift is a bad apple. Poor Pay for amount of work required, very POOR SUPPORT who know nothing but to ban people "she doesn't like". She patrol the forum like SHARK so she can delete stuff that doesn't smell rosy and look nice so the NEWBIES WONT know the truth and they can continue to take advantage of new users. They even put one thread for complain so they can control people speaking up but you know bad smell will always smell bad and trash you hide under the rug will show up eventually. Stay away from this app, it's the classic example of company taking advantage of its workforce. THE support always act like busy when it comes to questions regarding how they compute bonus or incentive, it's always mystery, you never know what you're getting into when you do the job, classic EXCUSE from Karen "we are working on it". Don't hold your breath, it's just a crappy promise. By the way, shifts starting pay is $3 and they asks too much work for that plus you drive and pay for your gas and taxes. To those who gave 5 ⭐️ or good reviews for 2016, you drank too much of Easyshift koolaid and for sure you are happy of $0.25 incentive or bonus.

The amount of pay has gone down despite the fact that amount of WORK has increased. Although it is showcased on major news outlets the actual amount of payouts is lower than what is advertised. The positive reviews are from years ago when you made decent money for time you spent working but now they have increased work and lowered pay? All positive reviews were from 2 years ago when this app was more decent.

This app used to be really good. Now the amount of work has increased while the payout has decreased. Before this app was very fair. I don't see that anymore. I only see them adding more and more work and continually decrease the payouts. Just not worth it.

Any newcomer should do the math. They cut pay so much now you pay them to do a shift. Who does that? Calculate the amount of time it takes to do a shift and divide the pay by it. No where near minimum wage.

Update 4/20: Since my original review, things have gone from bad to worse with this app. There's plenty of jobs available. Tons, in fact. Except they are sitting instead of being completed because pay is so bad. Not only has base pay gone down on most jobs, almost all jobs don't tell you what they pay. How the so called "incentives" are determined, nobody knows. EasyShift won't tell, because apparently, they "don't typically disclose" how they determine incentives. They never have except for ONE job, that many people were not properly paid for. ? Well, like many of the other reviewers here, I used to love this app. I've been using it for 3 years, and in the last couple months it has completely tanked. I made a lot of money using it at one time, but not anymore! Pay on most jobs has been cut nearly in half, and the majority of the jobs don't even tell you what they pay anymore. A job that used to pay $18 now only pays a base pay of $6 with the "possibility" to earn up to $19. Most people who have attempted this new "incentivized", aka penalty shift, have reported only making $14 for the same amount of work. The job requires locating over 100 items, taking a photo of each item with its tag, or if the item isn't in stock, taking a photo of the tag and a second photo of the empty spot on the shelf. However, if the item AND tag are missing, you still have to answer 2 questions and take a photo of the entire shelf section. But guess what? You don't get paid for that item, even though you still provided data. Because apparently, it's your fault that the store does not carry the item. Plus, you are spending up to an hour, if not longer, in the store while trying to dodge employees. Because if you get kicked out of the store, they pay you nothing! Another job, a beer display check that originally paid $6, now offers a base pay of $3.50, and you make more based on the displays you find. In my experience, I've never found more than 4, and most times, only 2. But I still have to walk the entire store and take 3 photos of the front aisle, 3 photos of the back aisle, and 3 photos of the beer aisle. One photo of the store address. Oh, and if I find a Heineken display? 4-6 photos required, even if the display has 3 cases of Heineken. And they want those photos from different angles. The best part is, they don't even break down how much you get paid for each display you find and take a bazillion photos of. As a result, I've gone from watching this app like a hawk and scrambling to reserve my max of 10 shifts before somebody beats me to them, to completely ignoring the sea of available shifts on my map. It used to be that all the shifts would be reserved within minutes of being released, but now they sit for days because nobody wants to do the work for the crappy pay. In the end, I wonder if the greed this company has displayed will be worth it to them. Because the people that made them successful have had enough, and without their workforce, they have nothing.

Easy shift no longer offers you pay for work performed. To understand what has happened to ES, their forum, the discontent, back biting and vicious attacks on other shifters is not the place to start. This change from a positive and money making opportunity working for and with amazing people is because of the change at the top and the effect works it's way down to the newest shifter. The original app, owner and community of shifters is gone. What happened? I guess the app was sold because it was so wildly successful. The changes are due the new owner and their lack of faith and trust in people verging on paranoia. It has escalated to "incentive" pay and additional photos to prove you just lost the incentive pay. Since working with the public and expressing good will is the formula for business success, I think it's time for ES to admit it's failure as a company and close its doors. It has allowed many shifters to be ruthlessly attacked on the forum and those attacked, bullied or expressing negative opinions of the "new" ES have been excommunicated not the perpetrators. So watch your step. This is not Field Agent or Gigwalk. This is Easy Shift and you have just been warned and told the truth. But you will find out; give it a try, get your own experience. Then come back and tell me if this is a company you want to work for.
