Perfect app to use for my ear training class!

Kennysaur

I got tired of going to a practice room and sitting in front of a piano to practice so I tried to find a good app to ear train with and this is the BEST out of all that I tried. I can finally practice anytime and anywhere. Great UI and it has all the features I need. Thanks!

All in one !

Highlander OO7

I came across this app by accident and gave it a try and was blown away with all that’s included in this thing . I am surprised with how quickly 11 minutes a day trains your ear . Have only been using for a few months but noticed a big improvement with little effort and actually lots of fun . Bravo !! Earpeggio you put together something worth having ????

Great app

Great app! I just wish they had chord progressions with the correct counterpoint rules....specially when it comes to the I-IV-V - I

Very fun

I can’t believe how fun this app has made ear training. The sounds and haptic feedback really make it feel like a game. Wish I didn’t ask me to “add friends” after each lesson, my buddy sent me the app but we can’t figure out how to add each other.

I absolutely love this program. It is very useful. I try to use it for 10 minutes everyday. My results have been crazy.

Simple problems in this almost great app

Clyde-frog

This app is great & I have mostly praise for its creators. However there are two main things that make it impossible to give five stars. First: you need to improve the audio samples. The decay of the piano/guitar sounds is unnatural so as to be distracting. I would recommend using natural decay on the piano sound, or add another sound that has a very long/infinite decay (eg organ, choir, bowed strings). Second: you need to improve the array of questions the app is serving. As of now, the practice tests I have been doing for chord progressions will give me the same question at least 3 or 4 times in the same run of 20 questions (despite having far more than 20 possibilities available). Other practice modes are inexplicably repetitive too. Thanks for reading & good luck with future updates.

The app is very useful and thorough. It’s only fault lies in that it assumes you know music theory.

All You Need!

This app is all you need for interval training. You can customize how you want to train by choosing different scale patterns to listen to. There are different modes of training to orient you to having a better ear for music!

Sign in not working

For some reason I am not able to sign into the app to save my progress. I have created two accounts bow and whenever I try to reset my password I never get the email. I do really like the app for ear training tho I think its very effective. And when I was able to login the reminders were very helpful.

Quizes have obvious UX issues

alixorus

Rhythm quizzes after the first few levels jam too many nots on top of each other so they are unreadable. Interval quizzes advance to the next level after you get 90% on 10 questions. Sometimes the random examples have 6 unison or octaves in a row, causing you to advance before you know the material. There is no way to go back. Really this should be using proper interval learning not these discreet levels.
