It is helpful a lot

Very Helpful

gurtargeek

The app has some bugs and there’s definitely room for improvement, but all in all, the lessons have helped me tremendously. They start out very easy. If you have somewhat of an ear already, you’ll have to be patient. An option to test out of certain skills from the outset would be nice, but they pick up in difficulty pretty quickly. It’s much easier to pull out my phone whenever I have a spare moment and work through some exercises than it is to blindly poke at my keyboard or look for exercises on YouTube. I’m noticing definite improvement in my transcribing and playing skills after just a few days of using this app. I’d highly recommend it.

Thanks for that

This application is so cool & so excellent

Awesome free app

BriungRi

This is literally free lunch. Thank you to the developer for giving this software for free

Extremely helpful

krampusnacht

This is really great for drilling in practical use of music theory. :)

Amazing App for Ear Training!

PC109

I always use this app when it comes to ear training. It really does help

Great app, just needs extended chords

ktaffe

Very helpful app with ability to practice and monitor progress with quizzes. Could be even better by adding additional chords to identify (9th, 11th, 13th chords, add 9, 6/9, +11 etc).

Rhythm dictation

DJANAKE

Rhythm dictation portion would be better with rests. Quarter note, half note, quarter note sounds more like quarter note, quarter note, quarter rest quarter note

I love this app

DVTX66

I’ve had music lessons and music theory for years. But I knew my ear wasn’t good enough. I just chalked it up to a lack of talent. This app saved me from that thought. My ear can be trained. I can learn. I can get better. And it did t cost me a dime.

Good but could be better!

This app is good and I use it daily. My main complaint is with the quality of the sounds used. I know this is a free app but I’d rather they charge me for it and update the quality of the instruments they use. Sometimes notes that they have recorded are different durations so ear training with chords is sometimes challenging as some notes cut out quickly while others keep ringing. The issue with quality becomes more apparent the farther you get from “two-line C” There’s also instances during interval identification where they will play 1 note so you will click “unison” as that would be the correct answer. It will comeback incorrect and the playback to hear the answer plays two notes the root and an octave. I have discovered that anytime I hear unison if I click replay a few times it will eventually play the octave note - if no octave occurs then is in fact unison and not a bug. I do really like this app and think it is a fantastic tool. But I would absolutely love to see/hear improvements even if that means paying.
