Well done

Lord QWERTY

Heavily influenced by Dungeon Raid, but this is actually a good thing. A great game, and not a carbon copy. However, in early gameplay, there are a few balance issues I noticed. *Tavern Quests are a bit too varied in difficulty. Killing 5 boss mobs in much easier than 25 normal mobs, the sheer number and scaling makes the latter much more difficult. Most of them are alright, but several playthroughs reveal which ones you want to aim for. *I'm not quite sure this is intended... But when you decline a merchant and close out the shop, you fight him, and he has 1 HP. Nice for picking up coins and taking a health break, but still, I don't think it is supposed to be that way. If so, ignore this. Other helpful things would be a brewery progress bar, unless it is very quickly obtained, and a total gold indicator when you pause a dungeon. Overall, a very addicting game, and has a hard limit, as opposed to Dungeon Raid, where an infinite game is possible if you set it up correctly.

Hi I'm Tom from Portland,OR I just download this game onto my iPod and just made an awesome discovery. You can upgrade a lot things I like that a lot. This game is new beat game by far. Thanks from Tom.

Simple and effective.

This really hit the spot when I was searching for a good puzzle rpg. It is simple and it is really good, a winning combination when it comes to handheld games. The difficulty ramp up is spot on also. I only manage to get to 75 monsters or so before getting destroyed. Only one gripe though, the defense stat doesn't seem to do anything at all. Monsters still do 100+ damage when they have 100 power and I have around 400 defense.

More gameplay than I anticipated

This eventually got too grindy for me, but I played for a surprisingly long time before that happened. I didn't expect to play this until I had leveled up my character more than 300 times, but this game kept me going for a while. A combination of a fantasy wrapper, items to make a character more powerful, and a variety of opponents requiring different strategies keep this interesting for some time. If you're looking for a swipe to match game that's not just bare bones, check this one out.

Good concept, but not very polished...

The actual gameplay is nice, the matching is a refreshing change from typical match-three games because you can connect diagonally as well. Not competing for matches against the opponent lets you set up larger matches, but it also means that the matches are much more predictable because the enemy always does the same amount-ish of damage (plus occasional extra skills). However, it seems like there are some pretty obvious improvements to be made: 1. When the Merchant appears in a dungeon, if you don’t buy anything, you end up fighting him. This seems like a glitch? 2. Gold does not carry over when you die, which is already dumb, but it makes no sense that your “bank” of gold is replaced with whatever you happened to have collected at the time of death. For example, if you are saving up for something and have 400 gold, then go adventuring and collect 25 more, but die, your total gold drops to 25. Leaving the dungeon before dying seems to add the collected gold, however. 3. It took me a good 20 minutes of playing to realize that you could buy gear and upgrades. A brief walkthrough would have pointed this out, and because you can’t see how much gold you have until you go to buy something, at first I thought gold was pointless. 4. Enemies aren’t really very different. Some have special skills, but there isn’t much variety. 5. “Classes” aren’t very different at all. Exaggerating the strengths and weaknesses in this case would be a good thing. In all, it’s a fun game, and has potential to be great, but it’s not there yet. NOTICE: The “Support” link on this page links to a website for a game that isn’t actually this game. Not sure who has the power to change that.

Strangely addictive

It is amazing how much time can be spent playing this game. There are enough abilities, items, and characters to level that it sort of has that "just one more turn" feel.

Great game!

Wouldn't it be nice to get another update? I found this game too late to experience the thrill of new content. :)

Almost perfect

I like it very much . Strategic part and building of character are very engaging... If I could think of a just one thing missing, it would be a tiniest animation of a fight somewhere in the top of a screen , because all these monsters must have faces !!! I don't like to think how they look like as I progress in the game ... Just a bit animation something a kin of "Devil Shard" , and the game would be 11/10 perfect !!
