It is a clone of Dungeon Raid but in my opinion this game is even better! You can put attributes in certain skills and you fight one monster at a time. I've sadly put in 8 hours of playing in the first week!! It's we worth playing, you won't be dissapointed.

Fantastic, yet simple game

I saw this app reviewed on The TWIT network, but hesitated downloading it because it wasn't free. So, when it DID become free I jumped on it. I must say if I had knew this game was this fun, I would have gladly paid for it. It is a simple concept, but I find myself playing it for quite some time each sitting.

I adored Dungeon Raid but it definitely felt like I was fighting against impossible odds after awhile, that the game is unbeatable. This game starts simple and the difficulty ramps up. As the game got more difficult I realized I could tap the monster to see what special attack it might have or the weaknesses it had. There's many many ways to customize your character, but most dungeon runs won't last more than 30-40 monsters because of the ramping difficulty. This gives you incentive to explore the shops where you can spend money you found in your dungeon run, or get equipment on the hero screen, or complete challenges to give you a chance to get discounts. Definitely worth a look, and maybe a dollar or two. Great game!

Better Than Dungeon Raid

When this game first came out I pegged it for a knock off of Dungeon Raid and since a lot of new apps get abandoned by the developer within a year, I kept Dungeon Raid on my iPhone. However, I've changed my opinion of this game. It's now superior to Dungeon Raid in every way. Since this game's release, the developer has taken player suggestions and criticisms seriously and done everything he can to make this game what the player's want. It receives regular updates that add new content and for that, I am truly grateful. I love this game. Dungeon Raid hasn't received a content update in a long time and unfortunately, it's now fallen behind. I've removed that game from my iPhone because Dungeon Story is better and it's the only game of its kind that I need. To the developer of Dungeon Story: keep up the awesome work! You're a very talented developer. Thank you for making Dungeon Story :)

This game is really fun to start with... However as time goes on, leveling up gets boring. Thus I agree with below that this game should have an ability tree of some sort to spice up leveling up. Still a great game, though.

I like the ability to purchase equipment, items, and training. I like the different character classes and the advancement of each without losing your level. I like the quests for a short and sweet play, since the actual dungeons can get lengthy. I don't like the random aspects sometimes. Go into battle with a dragon, full health, full energy to shield, heal, or bomb. Bit, you still lose because the dragon used dragon fire countless times in a row, which knock you down to 1hp. I guess it's an element of luck, but sometimes it's a game breaker when it shouldn't be. Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars because I do really enjoy playing it, even after passing level 100. Most games don't keep my interest that long.

Rpg elements cover a lot. Slow moving... Can't just blow through it. Pretty cool! Needs in app support to report bugs/contact dev etc. The town elements- starting off on lvl two for greed doesn't work on blood dungeon. Also -5% off gold doesnt work on upgrading ind stats

Purchased the double coin option from the store only to have it revert to single coins after resetting my iPad. Fun game but it would be nice to have a restore purchase option.
