Very versatile!

I have been using this app for years to download PDF files from the web to my NAS. SAFARI can save PDFs to DS File, which can then save the file locally or directly to my NAS. - It is also very handy for downloading movies from the NAS to watch at a later date. - It works well to download, organize, and view my sheet music for guitar & ukulele playing. Much easier to use than Goodreader, so I dont use that app as much anymore. - Occasionally, I will also use this to remotely manage files on my NAS (rename, copy or move files, create new folders, delete files, etc.) Due to its versatility, stability, and ease of use, this is my most used NAS app. Thank you Synology!
Not well incorporated its FIles App

I love my synology, but the App does not incorporate in Files app like OneDrive, Dropbox, Box or pretty much all of the consumer cloud services. If they add this feature, this app will be awesome. I use https with encryption certificate on my iOS device without any issues. Synology could make this process simpler for the average consumer, so you don’t have to download the cert and then send it to yourself to later import on your iOS device.
Can’t Even Sign In

I’ve enabled QuickConnect on my DSM, entered the sign in credentials correctly... won’t connect.
Search for NAS doesn’t find hardwired NAS on network same as WiFi is on.

Is frustrating since IP address changes. Have to log onto my Windows laptop. Log into NAS. Get its IP address. If Windows laptop on WiFi can find the NAS why can’t an app on iPhone on same WiFi network?

does exactly what i want...remote access to my nas files, ability to store to offline folder, and access through various iphone apps. only thing i would like added is login access with fingerprint and/or tfa.
App is very outdated, very disappointed this is from synology

App looks very out dated. It is also very slow even when on local network. Occasionally an error message pops up saying connection error so you need to close from background and login again. When moving or coping any file the path starts out from shared folder which shared folder which is very annoying.
Would be good if everything worked properly

I like the setup of the app and everything. Unfortunately, I was not able to backup old photos from my iPhone. It only uploaded new photos. There is even a setting to backup old photos but it did not work.

Awesome app! Loving it so far. Some feature requests: Please add: -thumbnail preview support for videos in files (.mp4, .mov, .m4v) -thumbnail support for HEIC photos -“share sheet” functionality. There’s no reason to use “email this item” when you could use the new iOS share sheet that automatically gives you dozens of options. It’s so much better :)
