Cannot even login. Same for all of your apps.

Need improvement

Dolleon

This App was good for backup. But since I upgrade my iPad and iPhone to IOS 14. I am longer to use the App. It shut down automatically once I try to connect to my NAS.

App will not download from iPhone SE

Sajr51

Just installed app to my new iPhone SE running IOS 14.0.1 and app will not download photos or videos to my NAS. Checking IOS update feature and this is the latest available. I continue to use this app without issue on my older iPhone 6s running IOS 13.4.1 to the same NAS with same settings. Not sure what the problem is with newer phone and IOS.

Instantly crashing while logging in

I’m using DS file ad photo on iPhone SE 2020. Two apps keep bringing me back to Home Screen. Please figure out the bug ASAP. Thank you.

ios app almost useful, with no new features

howark

EDIT features that would make this a useful app in priority: 1. An ability to see external drives or disks connected to the ipad so that you can upload files directly from external usb-c drive or SD card onto the synology. Other wise you have to directly download the files to the ipad via files.app then upload files to the synology via DS Files and then delete them from the local ipad storage. 2. Directly upload photos form photos.app. Fix crash when selecting multiple photos to upload to the synology. 3. Its not clear why or how the “local” ds files are needed or how this feature is useful. It would be nice to use DS files as a portal to the files.app to move files or directories back and forth from synology to files.app on ipad. Its like this app is sooo close to being useful but the end result is either impossible or extra time consuming steps that make the whole thing more obtuse. File management is not great on ios but its getting better, hopefully this app can keep up because a major part of my work flow was assuming files would be readily available on my synology from my computing device (the ipad). Currently its hard to move back and forth. Uploads crash when trying to move photos from the photos.app onto the synololgy file system. I’m guessing they have not updated the ios app for ios 14. could be super useful if it did not crash or have weird behaviors. Feels like abandon ware.... Maybe one day we will get an update.

It works! Remember to forward the right port

Khrisztian

When I first downloaded this app I couldn’t make it work (it won’t login) because I was forwarding the external port (443) to the internal SSL port (5001), to make it more seamless when I logged in via web. I couldn’t figure out the error until I pointed external port 5001 ... to the same one at my NAS... Anyway. For those with a similar setup !

Terrible Remote Access

IMSIERRABOUND

The device often freezes when attempting to open a jpeg file remotely that was saved via FTP from security cameras. One can see all the snapshot file names but the device freezes when attempting to view the image remotely.

Excellent

Thank you, all good now. Appreciation to developers who fixed issues right away. I have Synology server for the last few years and cannot express how happy I am. Thank you thank you thank you
