It’s fast and fluid. Update: I just wish I could drag and drop files from others apps to copy and paste.
Videos not playing, download, save not working

As the title states, I’m having issues with the videos not playing via the app. It keeps giving me an error. Also, I cannot download the photos to my phone. I’ve tried sending it via email or as a message but nothing works. Please fix this soon. I’ve also run into similar issues stated by other reviewers with uploads not working properly. Small loads seem to work fine but anything over 50 pictures, the app must remain open with nothing else running, and my phone screen left on and not going to sleep. Even still I seem to have issues with errors or photos missing. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 15.1.
Does not backup photos in background

I’m trying to use this app with my DS1019+ and it works fine when I’m in the app, but it is suppose to also work in the background. I did not force close, and it doesn’t backup a single photo unless I have the application open on the screen. Bummer. Apple backs up your photos to iCloud and charges for the storage. I got the synology so I could stop paying Apple.

This app does the single thing I need it to do and which other apps fail to. Transfer photos off my phone without messing with them. * iOS Photos App - requires me to manually toggle to include all metadata when sharing a photo and converts from HEIC to JPG * Dropbox - renames the photo before uploading it (who thought that’s was a feature?) * Google Drive - works okay but I have had issues with syncing

Having a Synology is great. Very nice piece of hardware. Apps like this don’t live up to that though. It is not a good user friendly implementation now that iOS has a more robust Files app. It needs to be developed to take advantage of Files “browsing” for a more seamless integration. Until that happens, this app use useless for how I need to manage my professional workflow.
