Good novels, bad process

I just spend 15$ or so on a novel to not even be half way done with a story. I saw other people had to pay as much as 55 dollars to fully unlock this one book. That had a ton of grammar issues. Which I’m cool with, the grammar, because it was a good read. Up to where my 15 dollars disappeared at least. I wouldn’t mind paying about 25 in terms of fair prices, due to the fact that the novel itself is 100 chapters. That’s about two books worth in story telling by the author. I’d be cool with 30 to 35 if it had been proof read and the grammar taken care of. I don’t mind supporting an author just starting out for a decent read, but 45, really? On top of that the money and points don’t add up here. They trying to make you spend more in on big swoop. I personally have an issue with that, because this isn’t some greedy gaming company. I could see you potentially losing customers over price and not being able to buy a book outright, with a fair price in a dollar amount format, after you let them sample the first few chapters.

That let you read one chapter you get into the book , I’ve spent $20 on one book and it is barely 1/2 through ... I wouldn’t even spend more than that on a book in it’s entirety from a book store or Amazon. It is a ripoff.

Books in the app will leave you hooked but then you have to pay to buy coins to actually read the whole book through don’t install this app save your time and money might as well by hard covered books. Just terrible I’ll be telling all my friends and family to stay clear of this app! Just download Readict great books for FREE!!

I love this app, it’s brought my love of reading back. I’d be giving it 5 stars if they fix whatever is wrong. I updated and now I’m becoming quite frustrated with the app. My stories I “heart” are gone when I return as well as I can’t click to follow new authors. I start reading and when I come back the book is no longer in my library. I’ve been checking to see if there was a new update PLEASE FIX THIS ?

Please start taking down the unfinished stories... of the Author doesn’t keep there word and update regularly take it down or mark it as incomplete so it can be out decision to read it..

Had to delete the app because I’m not about to spend $2.99 every time I want to read a chapter. Might as well just read episode. At least for them, all i gotta do is watch a video. RIDICULOUS .

I really love your app. The stories get you hooked. But I would love to see more ways to earn coins throughout the day. The 20 coins every 24 hours are not enough. Yes I get that you guys earn from this. But a little help to us too, that way we earn coins and it would be easier to also buy more as well. I’m pretty sure a lot of the readers agree too. Other reading apps have things or ads to watch through out the day to get rewards.
Reviews are a scam like the app

So all these 5 star reviews are paid for in coins. You have to pay to read each chapter of what equates to average fan fiction. You can get some “bonus” coins for things like daily check-ins and the time you read each day (mine have stopped showing up altogether). They also give you free coins for leaving 5 star reviews, hence why the seemingly great reviews. The price to just pay for the coins outright and unlock the whole book is actually HIGHER than going to a bookstore and buying a paperback let alone a digital copy of a story not good enough to make it to print. I’d recommend not getting yourself engrossed in a story thinking you’ll be able to finish it and just go buy regular publishing or find free fanfics.
