Good stories, way too much wait/cost

The writing is decent. I don’t understand the censoring of words. One word censored was “sliced.” What a weird word to censor. The wait times to be able to read the chapters for free is unbelievably long; to finish one book without paying will be over 100 days for 40 chapters. To pay to read the chapters will cost more than I paid for my 25th Anniversary hardcover edition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar that is signed by Eric Carle twice with an original drawing. I would much prefer ads to the whole waiting & paying to unlock chapters. I understand you can earn coins, but they are only good for 7 days. It is very difficult to earn enough coins to unlock chapters before they expire. The app’s internal clock that tracks reading for earning coins needs to be looked at. I have read for over an hour and got credit for under 30 minutes.

Started reading and could finish. I bought 1000 coins to unlock the whole story and it only unlocked for a few hours before it locked back with one chapter unlocked after 5 chapters before it. I paid for all the chapters to be unlocked and still had coins left. Came back the next day and all were gone and the chapters locked again. Wasted money and can’t read the entire book.

I logged into the app on my iPad to read and it says no coins but on my phone it still says 3,000

So after downloading and starting to read one book came the coin thing. Ok I get it so I found that wait for free episodes to supposedly unlock more coins. You check in every day, do all the other “rewards” but yet nothing happens. Why check in and do all the “rewards” and unlock episodes if you can’t get the rewards? The concept is good, I can overlook the editing or lack of but spending $10 plus on a book only to be halfway or less through is ridiculous! I have probably 25 if not books opened to read a chapter a day and half are pay to read now which I will never finish. This is an irritating issue. I have emailed only to be told that I have to unlock episodes to get the reward which I have and I am still sitting at the same “reward” spot I was when I started this.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that this app charges so much for a very poorly edited book written by some random teen. If you want people to continue using this app be more like Wattpad. This app is honestly a waste of space.

This is honestly a great app and I’ve found a great story to read. However, to have to pay to read EACH CHAPTER is ridiculous. This app will not last long with this method. Good luck.

Something is wrong with the countdown for checking in and earning coins, at a certain point everyday it starts to glitch. otherwise I like reading the stories, it is kind of expensive tho

I like reading just want to pay for what I read! Not a monthly subscription. Now have coins purchased I didn’t do. Beware!!!!! But as far as the story I read the author was good, caught my attention from the get go.
