Really?!! You can enjoy the restaurants, museums, bars, etc without worrying where to park, or many wine glasses you can take. Use the “Downtowner” is secure and free! Heads up: request your ride before your last beer or drink. It will take a while;)

I cannot express how much Downtowner has done for me. As someone who works downtown Savannah, and gets off very late in the evening, this service makes it very convenient and safe to make it to my destinations at night. As someone who also lives in the Hostess city and we see a lot of people who go out and drink, this service helps people make it back wherever they are safely. I sincerely hope the City of Savannah chooses to keep this program as a permanent part of pubic transportation.

I live downtown with my 12 year old daughter. We love the lifestyle downtown living has to offer. Walking and biking to Broughton st. to shop, eat dinner, visit museums, and the multitude of festivals. But as winter approaches and it gets dark early we have to stop as it’s no longer a good idea to walk or ride our tandem bike home with a kid as it gets dark so early. The Downtowner has changed that. It’s quick, it’s clean, and it’s safe. Tonight we would have stayed home, but thanks to the Downtowner we walked down to have dinner, shopped for some winter clothes on Broughton st., then ran by Mabel’s shop for a cupcake, caught the Downtowner and we’re home before 7pm! Thank you Savannah!

Such a wonderful service and app! My friends and I were astounded to find out that an app exists that is literally like free uber rides. The drivers are always great and so convenient. I HIGHLY recommend using this app.

I hope the word gets out about the free rides around downtown on the DOWNTOWNER. The driver I had was was great, informative, helpful and very nice. I felt as though I had called for a limousine. I was the only one on this transfer. Downside waiting for a ride takes 45 minuets. I hope that changes. Overall I’m on vacation not on the clock and will ride the DOWNTOWNER again. It sure beats the expense an Uber or Lyft would cost me.
This app is very bad

The driver here mostly very chill but the service is not. The wait time is very very long. Sometimes on my phone, it jumps from 30 mins to 62 mins like ridiculously. Some drivers here have that idea that because this is the free service so they don’t have to waste their time waiting for the people. At that point, I would rather use Uber, which is cost money than yo deserve such kind of service from them.

way better then lyft and uber.. its FREE! they drive around in Tesla’s which is awesome! Had two great experiences would use them again!
