My only wish for app changes is to be able to tip AFTER delivery like uber eats. We have had several instances of late deliveries and food missing, the ability to tip after delivery may help with these issues. Other than that I love app and it works wonderfully

And if I were rating the app on its look-and-feel only, I would give it at least four stars. However, my experience actually ordering food from DoorDash has been unsatisfactory at best. In particular, their customer service is terrible.

Such a convenient app!

One of the worst apps ever.

Have tried twice to use this app to order from The Garret in Los Gatos. Impossible to make sense of how to order pizzas 1/2 one type, 1/2 another type/-on GF crust. Order got screwed up twice. Not surprisingly. Simpler to pick it up myself.

Delivery time is always an hour plus

The delivery times are misleading. Don’t be fooled. It’ll take an hour plus every time. The map tracking is also worthless. Very inaccurate. Aside from that, I’ve never had a delivery fall through. Plenty of dining options to choose from too.

I really want to love this service but unfortunately, they don’t qualify their ‘Dashers’, which is the name they have given to their delivery drivers. I have had multiple delivery drivers that couldn’t read very well or at all(they usually have someone who can drive them)they were from another country and because they couldn’t read very well, they couldn’t understand the details included with my orders.... It’s hit or miss, sometimes you’ll have a good experience, and sometimes you’ll end up on the phone with the driver for 20 mins trying to help them understand how to read an address and end up standing out on the street side the whole time waving your arm in hopes they will see you. Sometimes you’ll end up spending as much time trying to guide their unqualified drivers as you would have if ya had just gone and gotten the food yourself, and at that point, why are you using door dash? Especially when the driver doesn’t/can’t even read the details so they get your order wrong anyway.

We have so many orders where we order food but then they reply an hour later saying it is closed and will refund. This Ian hard.., if the restaurant isn’t open don’t take orders! We have been with them from the beginning but service is getting worse. There is too many other services for food delivery and look forward to trying them
