If it weren’t for all the intelligent flight and safety monitoring in this app, my DJI Phantom 4 pro would probably be the foundation for a birds nest by now. On top of that, the vast number of ways you can adjust your flight and filming quality makes your production absolutely outstanding.

Since upgrading to latest firmware on remote & drone , this app disconnects randomly on ground and when in air. I’m using iPhone X connected to remote with cable. iOS 11.4.1 According to DJI forums : many people are experiencing this problem. DJI needs to make app compatible with iOS 11.4! Until then I can only fly using the remote with limited features. DJI please sort this out urgently!

A Waste of Money

I spent $380 on a Spark and it’s good but I can’t even fly it because the app always crashes and I’m not buying a $100 controller. So I basically just wasted $400! Thanks Dji

I use the DJI app my iPhone X to fly the Phantom 4, and it’s awesome! The only thing is that the app makes my phone or iPad really hot, and that causes the connection to be unstable. I wish they can fix that in an future update!

Never had any problem in understanding the app and its functions. It’s really clear even when you have to deal with stressful situations in flight. The store needs more variety, there is no accessories I can find, only flagship products. Really don't care about the social media part of it. Most complaints I see here and in forums are about HARDWARE limitations or misuse. Despite being a movie industry professional for 20 years, I really like the auto editing features even though half the automatic scene choices I have to fine tune. I wish there are longer clips to choose from in this function, an ample selection of filters and more styles/music to select. Most of my flights are not supposed to be masterpieces of cinematography, I just want to escape from the ground a little while and toy around and this autonomous features make these flights more likely to be documented. Another suggestion: The interface does well its job, but lets face it - its really boring! How about something like “skins” to choose from? Something more aggressive like from a jet plane, or minimalistic and uncluttered for better viewing experiences or even “fantasy” like an alien ship? You can sell these, people will pay for it because not everyone takes itself too seriously. Anyway, keep the good work, guys. Looking forward for the next generation of DJI products.

Video now skips with iPad mini 4 since latest update

The app as become too large and has issues since latest update. Video now stutters and skips with iPad mini 4 whereas it was problem fee prior to the update.

Seniors may be a little slow but one you catch on I think it will fight off senility and menopause! Wow , lots of technology for the money and in eight languages!!! Incredible, incredible, incredible !!!!!
