Not ready for iPhone X

The app leaves way too much of the screen not in use. The zoom feature is a waste and basically useless. This app can be so much better. It disconnects and you have no option but to constantly kill and relaunch the app to continue viewing. There should be an option to use the extra space to the edges of the display which is my largest gripe with this app. You’re watching the display of an iPhone 4. Just a waste.
Channel grid favorites doesn't work right

It would be nice to be able to set favorite channels correctly for viewing on the channel grid etc. It doesn't show the channels I select for favorites. For example I select TNT ch 138 and it shows 9420. It does this on all locals as well. :( Otherwise I really like what it has to offer. The response below did not relate at all to my complaint above :(

This app hardly ever works right for me or anyone else I know. If you want to stream live tv I would suggest canceling your service and getting something else.
Plan double time to watch a show

This is the most frustrating app ever. It’s constantly skipping and buffering and causes me to miss most of the show I’m trying to watch. It also often looses connection causing me to completely close the app and restart it several times before I can resume my show. Have never used a streaming app that’s so horrible.

No iPhone X support. Not made for large screens

This app is lacking. It’s falling behind in UI looks and feel to the competition. The app doesn’t support iPhone X or large screen phones. Dish look at direct TVs app and take notes.

6 Plus 6s Plus 7 Plus 8 Plus X Four years later, still not optimized for the larger screen. Another failed attempt at optimizing the app...the funny thing is the “my Dish” app has been optimized now. Updated for 7.7.3 Even worse than the previous version, how this can’t been seen prior to submitting is astonishing to me.

Let me start by saying that the app works for the most part. Just because it works doesn’t mean it works well or looks good. For one they never updated the app for larger iPhone screens so when you open the app it doesn’t fill the whole screen and you get black bars at the top and bottom. Secondly, when setting DVR recordings sometimes I’ll get an error that says Recording couldn’t be set. Force close app and go back in and it works. Also, the search is awful. You could type in the exact name of a show and it says No results found. These are some pretty basic things that if fixed would go a long way to making this app better.
No iPhone X Support

The app looks awful on iPhone X. Most apps have adapted to the big screen of iPhone X but not Dish Anywhere. I will change to 5-star once it supports iPhone X.
