It’s fine but...

When it comes to scheduling recordings, watching shows on my phone...etc, it’s passable. However, I cannot watch any of my recorded shows from my DVR in the app, without it freezing and buffering. It plays for a few minutes, then pauses, plays then pauses again. It never stops until the show itself is over. Not to mention the picture is heavily pixelated. I initially thought it could have been my internet connection, but I have other devices and other outlets that require the internet, and they have no issues whatsoever. Please get this looked at!

Honestly, the the app was poorly designed. The in-app keyboard is obnoxious, captions for whatever reason remain on at all times while I watch any show and cannot be turned off, the app exits out of the video that you are watching every time you go onto a different app and return and these are just a few of the inconveniences that I have dealt with. I would have expected something much better to be able to compete with other big company TV providers out there.

The interface on this app is unintuitive and slow. The app is also still not optimized for larger screens on the Plus size iPhone or the iPhone X. No wonder people are getting rid of cable/ satellite tv.

This app struggled badly 2 years ago but now works great and is an essential part of any traveling I do, as I like to watch DVR’d shows while working out away from home or while on a plane with internet. Thanks DISH!

I had my doubts but I’m really digging this app. It’s more convenient than my standalone Slingbox M1. As I can watch TV on my device(s) without affecting the actual feed on the TV set itself. I have two requests please: One please get rid of the gray bar at the bottom of the iPhone X screen when watching video in landscape. As it is, there is limited precious real estate on an iPhone screen and this gray bar at the bottom does not allow the video to completely fill up the iPhone screen. Plus we know by now swipe up to get to the Home Screen. We don’t need that reminder anymore. Two please give us an option to disable the option to choose to “watch on tv” or “watch on iPhone”. I’m using this app so 100% I wanna watch it on the iPhone. I know one of these days I’m gonna accidentally pick “watch on tv” and piss off my roommates. Other than that thanks for this app Dish. Well done ??
