Terrible only because of the commercial

The commercials are way too repetitive and too frequent. I get the need for them but have less and change them up.
needs bug fix also do a fix to keep the time of the commercials down a notch they are way to long.

I think it’s stupid you have to add a cable provider or you can’t use the app. I don’t have cable and I miss the discovery channel.

I cannot believe the team at Discovery would allow this app to be still in existence! It’s 2018 - you’ve gotta an app that appears to work like its 1999! Really folks, this is the worst app I have used on iPhone or the Apple TV 4K, blotchy video, commercials galore, and even the commercials are horrible! People at Discovery, WALK UP! You have great programs but put on such a low quality app, like putting a Mercedes Engine in a body of an old rusted out Ford Pinto and running around town in it waving to everyone! I cannot think of any other analogy! Please Discovery, pay attention to these reviews, you can do better!
Too many repetitive ads

Easily 2X the number of ads of TV (about 20min per episode) and with a limited supply of advertisers they have, every ad is repeated 5 or more times per episode... absolutely horrible. I’m going to just start buying the one show on here worth watching via iTunes. It would be smart for them to do the Hulu model... $5 more per month for no ads.

This app crashes all the time and makes you rewatch commercials you have already watched. I do believe that this is a marketing strategy so they can get more money.
I hate this app more than any other.

Whoever coded it should be homeless. It constantly crashes. Sometimes it won't even open. Zero stars. Dear Discovery advertisers, because this app is so annoying due to the constant crashes I am forced to re-watch commercials over and over. It has made me hate your products. All of them, especially Ram trucks. In my opinion they are terrible especially the voiceover guy with the deep voice who speaks slowly like he has mental deficiencies. I am so irritated that I will never buy a Ram for as long as I live. And I hope nobody else does either. Anyone who says this app is great and never crashes is full of ****.
