Great Library, But...

I can’t describe how annoying it is to be fast forwarding and being forced to watched 5-7 ads every time you hit one of the “ad bars” on your video progress. Switching between tv and mobile, it doesn’t save my most recent spot on the shows I watch. So when I am scrolling through an episode, I constantly have to watch all of these ads even though I haven’t found the point I was last at yet. And you can’t back out of the ads once you trigger them. Currently looking for a point I was last at and I have already had to watch 19 ads. So, so very annoying and wasting my time. There has to be a better way.

It has a ton of cool shows. Only thing, the app is missing BASIC features. First of all, there is no customization and setting preferences. Second, there are so many ads, I can’t scrub or move forward in a video if I want to skip apart of the video because I get ads. Third, there is no customization of the Closed Captioning. I prefer setting my captions a little see through and green! Most importantly THERE IS NO WAY TO DOUBLE TAP TO MOVE FORWARD OR BACK. Yt and D+ both have the option to double tap either sides of the screen to move forward or back 10 or 5 seconds. PLEASE JUST ADD THAT IT ISNT EVEN HARD TO ADD. LIKE EVEN I COULD CODE THAT. And when I scrub or try to move in a video, there is no preview. Also they need to add Picture in Picture and better organization. Please make this app better, and use Ytube as inspiration. I hope the developers see this and don’t ignore their customers. I will make my review better if they stop spamming ads and they add quality of life features that every other video app has. But as I said great content.

Way too many advertisements! Sometimes 5 or 7 ads at a time every few minutes. Just unacceptable really. I get you need a couple, but come on man, three minutes at a time? Ridiculous. I’ve posted this one star review while ignoring your commercials.

Half the time it doesn’t remember my credentials logs me out over and over again not worth the time. I don’t write a lot of reviews, this app annoyed me enough for me to go out of my way to write this review.

Discovery No-Go
Decent app if it werent to the (literally) 45 commercials per episode! For a 1 1/2 hour show it takes 2 hours to watch it!!!

This app would be great if you got a DeLorean up to 88 mph and went back to 2007. But unfortunately time travel doesn’t exist here in 2021, and this app is terrible. It’s terrible on iOS, and it’s terrible on an Xbox. It wants me to continue watching episodes I have finished and they just stay there telling me to continue watching. The ads are ridiculous. There are more ads on here than if you watched it on TV. An hour long show takes way longer than an hour to watch. It’s almost as if they forgot they had this app and service so they stopped developing any updates that actually make it work like it should in the 2020s. Just spend a little time on your UI please!
