Dead Reckoning Crescent Case - one crazy circus!
Dracyy

DR has two previous offerings and both were fabulous - this third game certainly lives up to the reputation! All three play as a stand alone and once again you play a detective trying to stop a murderer but this time the scene of the crime is a circus! The great Art Deco style from previous offerings still applies. Crisp artwork well drawn hop mini games are unique and sane. No vermin so far but there are clowns and animals galore. Transporting indicated map, collecting scales of justice in every scene. No custom difficulty. Verdict: buy!

Circus Berserkus from Dead Reckoning

The Dead Reckoning series is known for its stylish art work, which is quite evident in this Crescent Case. You, the detective, have been called to the circus to investigate the death of an employee. You suspect poisoning (after testing everything with your Handy Dandy Evidence Kit.) While you are busy looking for clues, another body comes to light. Is this a circus serial killer? You must find out! Along the way, you grab a book of employee dossiers, which is a help. Each scene has a collectible justice scale. Your Hidden Object Scenes usually have either the Find It and Use It type or the Fill In the Shadow. Skip and Hint are good, even functioning as a Transporting Map, when necessary. Great art, interesting story line, and fun puzzles -- what more could you ask? Get this Dead Reckoning now!

Crazy Circus Mystery To Solve!

OK, some things that I really liked about this games, and some things that I didn't, leading to a four star rating. The good: Love the story, where it keeps you guessing as you investigate the circus performers. Transportable map that shows where actions are needed (although having to navigate through the menu to access the map is a little tiresome). Mixed feelings on the graphics (see below). The bad: Collectible scales of justice are sometimes hidden in the dark corners of the screen, so personally I wish that the graphics were a bit brighter and crisper all around. If you can't find the scales, try tapping in the darkest spot you can find on the screen! No custom mode of play. No morphing objects. The ugly: Nothing here - gameplay has been smooth, no glitches on my end. Upcoming games: Big Fish: - Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst Unlocked - Mystery Trackers: Paxton Creek Avengers - Sea of Lies: Tide of Treachery - Secrets of the Dark: Mystery of the Ancestral Estate (this is an oldie from 2013 by Orneon - they also did the Secrets of the Past series. Decent game but lacking the bells and whistles of the modern collectors edition - no map, no collectibles, no morphing objects. But like the previous games in the series, you have the cool mechanism of turning the light on and off to view different aspects of the same scene) Artifex Mundi: - Grim Legends 3: the Dark City Absolutist: - Contract with the Devil - Mystery Expedition: Prisoners of Ice

Another Great Game!

Outstanding, Fun and Full of Mystery in this who is the culprit mystery. Beautiful graphics, hidden object scenes, puzzles and a jump map. A must buy and a real gem! Thank You Big Fish and keep these type of games coming. KdBoots

Waste of money

Had I been able to play for free first, I wouldn't have bought the game. Very glitchy. I'll tap on something several times, nothing. Then I tap hint and it points me to the item I've already tapped a gazillion times. Very frustrating.

I "Reckon" It's Time For Popcorn And Peanuts!
KimTwilight69

Warning: Lions and tigers and bears - Oh My! And monkeys! One of my favorite series is back! This installment implements a true experience of carnival glitz while incorporating elements of murder, mystery, and intrigue. So, whodunnit? You'll see! While beholding familiar sights, such as a Ferris wheel spinning above, you traverse around stripped tents with colorful flags holding various games or functions relative to a carnival, such as shooting targets, past grounds littered with bottle cans, peanuts, and old peeled posters, to trailer parks with caged animals in order to interrogate suspicious employees. The sound effects are elevated as you hear the echoes of people talking and laughing as well as the squeals and roars of various animals. I can almost smell the warm, buttery popcorn baking in the machine and hear the shells of peanuts crackling under my heels. The graphics are rather dull and muddy; they are visually unappealing and need to be sharper or crisper. The colors are mostly on the darker side. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. There are no custom settings! Seriously? Penalties in the HOS? Well guess what? Rating penalty in my review! In addition, the teleport map does not indicate areas of interest in Detective mode; I have to fend for myself. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick. I won't repeat what other reviewers have already said; however, you do have the famous Evidence Board where you store pieces of collected evidence, clues, and info on the suspects to make deductions regarding the circumstances of the murders. The HOS are varied and creative; they include innovative methods of interaction with victims. The puzzles are fun and varied using themes relative to a carnival. I love the ring toss! You do have a collectible, and I like that there is an indicator to let one know that one can be collected. The access of the features is time consuming; they are accessed through the menu. This is still a good game with nice variation and creativity; I deducted a star for the reasons set forth throughout my review. It's worth playing!

UGH!
Grammy3girls

Very disappointing as the other reviews made the game sound promising. After repeated tries and extensive troubleshooting I cannot place the two bear paws where they belong thus rendering the game useless. No updates or fixes!

Great Fun Love Murder Mysteries

Beautiful graphics, teleporting Hint button, many creative HOPs and puzzles. Suggestions: please make it possible to customized the refresh rates for the Hint and Skip buttons. Place the map outside of the Menu. Can't wait for another game in this series!

A cool tale of intrigue!
MagicLouJohnson

As a magician and a juggler, this is an amazing recreation of the vintage carnivals and circuses of yesteryear. I LOVE the multi-layered puzzles to get to the next round. Twists and turns are still not present, but then again, I'm not done yet.
