Dark Sky has been a great app for my active lifestyle. Knowing temp, wind, and rain chances before going out on a bike ride is great for dialing in what to wear. I have found the forecasting to be very accurate and dependable.

Love the app and literally the only reason it's not 5 stars is the notifications. The weather Channel app does a much better job at sending you notifications wether the app is open or not in the background which I also don't know if the reason I'm not getting them is because it's not running in the background. But the fact that Dark Sky's notification is "it's about to start raining" is my only complaint. Maybe make it a 15-20 minute warning? Other than that love the app

I rarely get notifications on my iPhone X. Occasionally they come in but more often than not it starts raining and I never get any notification at all.

Notifications no longer working.

I was very impressed early on, but as of late, I do not get notified of rain. My settings are properly set including having the location turned on.

App says it’s 40 degrees and the watch says it’s 33 degrees and my wife is sitting next to me in bed and her 38° app and 42 on the watch waste of money ???

This app used to be great. However, lately it no longer updates the complications on my Apple Watch. The whole point of me using this app was to have it in my watch. Please issue a refund or fix this issue!

Ok weather awful watch app

The local weather is ok — not as accurate as the dreaded AccuWeather, which sells your data — but the watch app is slow to load, and the complication hardly will load, and it never matches the app, and it never updates well. It’s a terrible watch app (Apple Watch 3 GPS/cell running 4.2.2)

The app has a nice simple flow to it but lacks some real user experience polishes. Comparing to weather underground, it lacks the drill down detail and app refinement. There is no explanation of their weather timeline. The radar view defaults to a global view every time you leave the page. The app randomly force closes on iPhone X.

Forced to have location services to always on

Why would you force me to have location services to always on for me to receive notifications?
