Totally worth the money

The default weather app and the yahoo app are okay for weather forecasts at a glance, but they don’t provide any details, making it hard to anticipate and plan around changing weather. There are other free options, but the interfaces are clunky, confusing, or downright unstable. The dark sky app, on the other hand, is the total package. It has all the details you need packaged in an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interface!

Living on the road is so much easier with this App. Dark Sky is easy to use, accurate and full of information. Dark Sky makes it easy to check the weather wherever I am - by simply opening the app. The constant improvements are nice too. Thanks Dark Sky.

Good but Would love to see...

Need to be able to view multiple columns at the same time. For instance, I would love to see temperature and precipitation at the same next to each other. . Needs Dew point!

Great weather utility, could use more narrative

My only complaint for the iPhone app is that I wish it had more narrative to describe the upcoming weather. Otherwise, the Apple Watch complication doesn’t work for me. It just displays all dashes, but if those 2 items were resolved I would gladly give it a 5th star.

I have used a lot of weather apps and this is the one I check first to find out what is going to be happening HERE. I have installed in a lot of phones for non-weather-geeks. It’s easy and super accurate.

This used to be a great app. It's about 50% accurate. Might as well walk outside and look at the sky now.

When I first bought this app, the data it presented was very reliable. But over the past year or so, it has stopped working. It’s almost never reliable, and my friends who use the standard weather app get much better forecasting.

Dark Sky Used to be Great

I started using Dark Sky about 2 years ago. It was great getting up to the second notices it was going to rain. It was so convenient to have the app on my watch, too! But about a month ago, the complication on the watch only showed lines. I uninstalled and re-installed the app 3 times. That would fix it temporarily, but then it would show that it was 72* degrees, regardless of the temp outside. I live in South Florida, it actually was in the 70’s yesterday, and the app said it was 24*. And so, the love affair with this app has ended. I’ve deleted it from my phone and switched to Carrot.

Widget not working

I like the app ok but the perception coverage in the widget varies significantly from the app. Also, I don’t understand the coloring scheme in the radar and I don’t see a legend anywhere. Another suggestion, I would like a direct link to darksky.net in the app to satisfy the weather nerd in me.
