Can’t add widget to Home Screen

You can’t add a widget for this app on your home screen which is a bummer. Everything else is cool

If you prefer to look at your phone instead of out your window, this app is for you. It’s fine for current weather, okay for the next few hours and horrible for anything beyond a day. Had a snow storm locally that every other weather app reported. Dark Sky? Sunny with 5% chance of snow. Hard pass.
Great weather app except for snowfall forecasts

I use and rely on DS daily for excellent weather forecasts. It’s only shortcoming is it’s tendency to super-over estimate snowfall amounts. Today Jan 23, 2022 at 3 pm eastern time in zip code 44060, DS is forecasting 16-25 in of snow - we had 2” today by 10 am and no more is expected before midnight. 16 - 25 in forecast isn’t remotely close to reality. What’s going on? signed Confused in NE OH.

Beautiful app. Never accurate farther than 24 hours out. It’s almost comical and definitely tragic. Mostly just sad.

This app is great if you want to know what’s happening outside right now, but then you only have to look out the window for that. So far this winter Dark Skies has failed to predict the amount of snowfall we have had. It seems to me that they would rather commit to saying it will just be cloudy when in reality it snows all day. Other weather apps have been much more accurate. The radar map is also useless. This app can’t be trusted when you need to depend on a forecast for making plans. I don’t mind when a weather forecast gets it wrong, but getting it right from time to time would help.
