Over rated

This app doesn’t deserve all this ratings, it’s not that good. No well organised and not very accurate. Last night it was snowing for 3 hours the app didn’t show anything. I wish i could get my money back.

It’s More Better. ;-)

OldFirePro

Has features the others don’t. Especially like alerts that let you pretty precisely when precip is starting and stopping at your location.

One of my top two weather apps.

Trust Dark Sky more than other source although I do use eweather to get a second perspective. Your one drawback is weather radar. Have to turn to The Weather Channel to see my immediate area. They have the best radar display I’ve found. Keep up the good work.

From best weather app to unreliable

Ratkris

Before Apple bought this, i literally was an unpaid salesman for this app. I was really surprised at the accuracy of the radar and upto the minute accuracy. Sadly that does not hold true anymore, user interface has not changed, apple does not seem to have done any changes, but accuracy has become a joke. It pains to see such a wonderful all go down in the drain.

Inaccurate Temperature Readings.

TL000000

I have always liked the layout and presentation of this app. The design beats all other apps hands down. However, for the last 2 years I'm finding that the temperature readings are 4-5 degrees colder than EVERY other weather app. Not trustworthy like it used to be. I have to review multiple weather apps to validate the real temperature as Dark Sky is wrong.

Pretty layout, poor predictions

GeoffSJG

While I enjoy the appearance of this app, I find that its forecasts are pretty inconsistent. I’m especially frustrated with the 2-hour window predictions; these often don’t match up to the day predictions: for example, there could be a really high likelihood of snow or rain for a given day, but when I expand to look at when that’s likely to happen, none of the 2-hour slots show rain or snow.

Works well occasionally but…

Feeling Free

We live in lake effect snow region. If it doesn’t show up on radar, Dark Sky says NO PRECIPITATION. Tried to report deficiencies but absolutely no attempt to resolve this. Even the National Weather Service had more accurate info. Kind of regret getting this. I just keep hoping it gets better.

Apple made it unreliable

Xanthrick J.

Forecast and even current temp is completely unreliable. Purchase and destroy, the new Apple motto.

Use to be great

Doyagetme

I remember when this app first came out it was spot on I am talking 90%of the time and 95% accurate to the hour by hour feature at least 85% accurate out to 1 week out I have no idea where they get the intel from but it’s like a big guessing game now it’s big joke you want to pay me to say well folks 0-80% chance of snow or rain maybe less then an inch to 4 feet let’s wait and see… because this app is essentially doing just that.. be better, be like it was when it first launched
