Greetings, Gamers: This will be short and not-so-sweet: this game is a huge rip-off! After gaining entry to the locker room and retrieving the punch card from the trophy case, the punch card goes into my inventory but it's shadowed or faded, as if to imply I can't use it. I do use it in the locker and retrieve the rope ladder. It too enters my inventory, albeit shaded/faded. Here's where the game froze on me the first time. After trying everything I deleted the game and reloaded it onto my iPad Pro. Same shaded/faded deal happened with the same objects but this time I managed to use the rope ladder, entering the next scene. There the game just froze. No backing up, no going forward, no exiting to Strategy Guide, no hint button. I'm going to request a refund but I'm sure I have a snowball's chance I. Death Valley of getting my money back. A deal @ $3.99? More like a steal...from your pocketbook by Big Fish. Don't get hornswoggled like I did. It'll be interesting to see if others had similar problems. Game was pretty good. Good story and graphics, but way too short. Felt like $3.99 was to much for this game.

I have been a fan of the Dark Dimension series however this one feels very dated and old. No custom difficulty however it has a great diary and a zoomable transporting map. Items jump into inventory which is rather annoying. While I was able to finish the game without freezing, some of the mini games did not respond to touch and had to be skipped. The storyline just got worse as did the game. I keep trying to like it because I enjoyed the series but I just can't. Buy if you are overly bored but honestly I would just wait and hope the next offering is better.

Sorry to disagree with some other reviewers, but I am really enjoying City of Ash. I also had a problem with inventory items fading - but I could still pick them up and use them to advance in the game. I would have enjoyed a Strategy Guide, as I was a bit confused when trying to get rid of all the medals in the pool. However, I figured it out, and I'm still having fun. Like Pompeii, this city was consumed by a volcano in 1956. Audrey, the mayor's daughter, was conducting a protest against the mines when the volcano erupted. Her father was in favor of letting the mining company continue its work, and Audrey believed the mining had disturbed the volcano. Very topical plot! And I am enjoying the fifties decor and autos. I think the "fading" problem comes from too many active scenes too close together. My inventory looks much better now, later in the game. Hint and Skip work well, and the Inventory is labeled. Transporting Map with indicators is helpful. I liked the reminders of past Daily Magic games in the Diary. I might have to get a few! I like it!

Probably one of the worst most pointless games I have played in a very long time. Too bad, as it could have been a good game if there had been some sense to the story. I didn't have any problems with the mechanics, it was just very boring & pointless. Very little voice overs, lots of hidden object scenes, beautiful graphics and special effects, but that doesn't cut it in my book. Very Sad! KdBoots

This just doesn't work. Things didn't open, the hint stopped working shortly after starting the game. Where the quality checkers at the developer and worse yet, where was BigFish games quality people that I thought checked them all before releasing them. I want a credit or refund as I paid for this game and it is defective.

I bought this game based on my dear friend Dracyy 's advice. Please Dracyy, any vermin updates on this, the new Amaranthine Voyage and the new Secret Order? I am not in the mood for RATS right now, although when am I ever in the mood for them, lol? If I let that stop me I would never play! Welcome back Moonbeam! The Dream Team Elite misses our fabulous professor! Hi, Snooper and KimT! This game had magnificent graphics and electrifying cut-scenes. The story flowed well and was easy to follow. There was a decent journal and a non-spoiler hint. You could choose from 3 levels of difficulty. Loading was instantaneous between locations. There was an excellent marked teleport map, which if you thought was hard to read, had excellent zoom. I didn't find the game glitchy. Inventory was labeled, but I didn't like the inventory toolbar because the inventory "jumped!" Nowadays that should not be the case. There were no plus, or complex inventory items to assemble. The HO scenes were boring to me. There were two types: word lists or silhouettes. There was a decent variety of puzzles, but they weren't overly original. The game had a bonus adventure, but even with it I felt it was a very short game. As others have said, I felt that the game seemed dated, and I was a little bored by it. It wasn't a terrible game by any means; it just had nothing really exciting to make it stand out. Surprisingly a lot of the people you met were altruistic, and gave you items to progress through the game without asking for anything in return. At least there were no RATS, just a small mouse at one point! I am glad I bought this game at the sale price! Full price would have been too much for such a short and unremarkable game. Lynxie sends ❤️?? to the Dream Team Elite! Btw, everybody, there is another iOS update out! I have to install it on 3 devices; what a pain in the butt! However it has a new feature that is suppose to help you fall asleep. It is called Night shift. It is 1:30 AM and I am wide awake, so I doubt it will work as well as Xanax, lol!

Have you never heard of geo leap.!? Or trans Port there. The was exciting at first, but after It seem like a lot of work. Not a fan.!! The hint Button Is a litter faster!, but that's it. I did enjoy playing it.
