The drivers have figured out how to scam the system. They will claim ignorance of the app and say it is not working. They ask for cash but later you find out your credit card was still charged. No wonder they lost business to Lyft and Uber.


Charged me for a taxi, and never gave me a refund

I requested a Taxi yesterday. After waiting 10 minutes on the application which was searching for a driver it just reset and I never got the taxi. I was then charged $24 for the Taxi and have yet to receive a refund. I also contacted support and have yet to receive a response!

The app is trash. Theyre just bringing you the opportunity to pay twice as much as Uber and Lyft. And they’re about twice as expensive as a ride should be so do the math. Trash app

Trying to contact support group, still nothing I’m having issues with the verification, it won’t be accepted tried to delete and purchase the app, still won’t accept my phone with my nychhc email.

The taxi location kept saying three minutes away and never moved for 15 minutes. When it finally did it said my house location only no taxi was there. I was standing in front my location. Then the location of taxi started to move away from me all the while still maintaining 3 minutes away status. This is the worst experience ever. I had to end up taking the bus and now very late for work. The very worst. Have the decency to call the customer. SMDH!


DOUBLE CHARGED ... TWICE. AVOID CURB!!!

AVOID CURB! I do NOT recommend using the CURB TAXI APP. Yes, it is convenient, and seemingly brings the grumpy taxi-cab world up into the 2000s on par with an Uber pay-by-smartphone experience. But twice in recent months, the app has not worked when I’ve gotten out of taxis in both NYC and Miami. The Curb app stalled and wouldn’t confirm the transaction -- both cabbies said it was a cell phone connectivity issue and asked to be paid in cash. Cabbies said “since I don’t have a connection you can’t pay by regular credit card either.” In both cases, I paid cash, and in both cases, the CURB app later charged my card for the completed ride, meaning I paid twice for each fare. There is no customer service feature at Curb that handles these issues in any way. In both cases, I’ve had to dispute the charge with American Express, who also said they received no response from their inquiry to Curb and just refunded my disputed money to avoid further hassle. AVOID CURB!


Location always active

Not fond of apps that are tracking my every move... while I understand why the app needs my location, I don’t understand why it needs my location even when I’m not using the app. No thanks.


App broken, crashes upon loading.

The app won’t even load up. Just shows a splash screen and then crashes. I’m on iOS 13.4.1 right now on my new iPhone SE, and it did the same thing on my iPhone 6 running iOS 12. Don’t waste your time until they fix it.
